Fresha Reveals the Ten Most Booked Beauty and Wellness Treatments of Summer 2025

by Fresha on July 21, 2025

The weather is hot, and so is the demand for summer-aligned beauty and wellness treatments. As we continue to prepare for our weekends abroad, we turn to the industry’s most tried and tested treatments to make sure we’re ready to hit the beach in our best form. From massages to hair removal, this list, backed by Fresha data, is the perfect way to help you find your next summer appointment.

Here are the most booked beauty and wellness treatments that have been booked for Summer so far…

10. Swedish Massage

A timeless favourite, the Swedish massage is all about relaxation. With gentle strokes and calming rhythm, it’s the go-to choice for anyone looking to de-stress, which is why there’s no surprise it’s landed in the top 10 this summer.

9. Therapeutic Massage

Blending relaxation with recovery, therapeutic massages focus on relieving tension and targeting classic problem areas. As more people prioritise holistic wellness, this treatment continues to see high demand, and the reason is clearly in its results.

8. Threading

Threading has had a big comeback, with some of the most popular brow bars opting for this method for their clients. Known to create sharp, defined brows without the use of chemicals, it’s perfect for sensitive skin. It’s also quick, precise, and affordable, making it a beauty essential.

7. Full Body Massage

A beloved head-to-toe treatment, the iconic full body massage remains a seasonal staple that promises both body and mind relaxation. With summer holidays and wedding season in full swing, it’s a top pick for anyone in need of a full-body reset.

6. Deep Tissue Massage

For those chasing deeper relief (we get it), deep tissue massage targets the inner layers of muscle to ease chronic pain and stiffness. Its popularity highlights the wellness shift towards recovery-focused selfcare.

5. Face Waxing

Perfect for a summer polished glow, facial waxing delivers a smooth, hair-free finish for your skin with long-lasting  results. Clients love it for its efficiency and how well it preps the skin for makeup or the perfect bare faced look.

4. Laser Hair Removal

With smooth skin high on the summer wishlist, laser hair removal sees a surge in bookings. We love its long-term benefits and minimal upkeep, especially during the hotter months when shaving can irritate a little more often than usual.

3. Eyebrow Waxing

Defined brows continue to dominate the beauty scene, and eyebrow waxing is the most tried and trusted method in the industry. It’s quick, it’s effective, and it’s easily accessible, making it the perfect appointment to book before the summer season and holidays away.

2. Beard Trimming

This particular treatment has become a key part of men’s selfcare routines, and the hotter seasons see a spike in beard trimming bookings to keep things groomed in the summertime. It’s low-impact and high-impact grooming that men can book over and over again.

1. Men's Haircut

Sitting in first place is the classic men’s haircut. This timeless treatment sees constant demand throughout the year, but in summertime, a well kept haircut always ensures you’re comfortable in the heat.

Think you’ve found your next appointment? Book it now and stay summer-ready all season with Fresha.

Are You Charging Enough? The Pricing Mistake 68% of Hair Professionals Are Making

by Fresha on July 1, 2025

You opened your hair salon because you had a vision for real success and growth.  But, if you’re booked and busy yet not seeing the profit of back-to-back days, there’s a good chance you’re making the same mistake that 68% of hair professionals make: you’re not charging enough.

We understand that the potential of overcharging your clients and therefore losing them is daunting. However, the truth is, undervaluing yourself is often more damaging than raising your prices. It leads to burnout, blocks your growth, and results in difficulty in getting ahead.
