The Fresha Awards are painting the globe purple. From Australia to the US, our awards have been sent out to 11 different countries, this year, celebrating inspiring business owners who are raising the bar in beauty and wellness.
We asked some of 2025’s awardees what the award means for them and their business. From emotional reflections to proud team celebrations, these stories shine a spotlight on the people behind the scenes who make the magic happen.
Sisters Olivia and Yvette Perez, co-owners of the vibrant, one-stop beauty destination Fiu Fiu Studio, marked their Highly Recommended 2025 win with a celebratory dance and proudly displayed their award sticker. The sisters told us “It’s a proud testament to our dedication, skill, and the trust our clients place in us as hair stylists, make-up artists, and nail artists. Their support means the world to us, and we’re so grateful for the continued trust”.

Angela Kennedy, Founder and CEO of Lash Envy Melbourne, earned the coveted Best in Class award for her standout five-location lash empire. Angela told us how the award is proof of their hard work in delivering value to their clients. She has her sight set even higher on the next goal saying, “This award isn’t just validation — it’s fuel to raise the bar even higher.”

In Twickenham, barbershop owner Jimmy O'Brien upgraded his old Highly Recommended sticker with a brand-new Best in Class 2025 badge. His popular barbershop, Studio One Bodega, is known for being more than just a place to get a haircut — it’s a community hub. “This one is thanks to all our amazing clients for leaving such unbelievable reviews through Fresha,” he says. “Levelling up to Best in Class in our second year of business is something to be proud of”.
