Points: your clients earn a certain amount of points per $1 they spend or action they complete (like complete an appointment, or leave a review). They then can claim rewards when they hit a certain amount of points.

Tiers: clients will climb tiers depending on how much they spend with your business. So for example, if they spend $500 in total, they go up from bronze tier to silver tier and unlock more rewards. 

 

With points and tiers, clients move up tiers based on points earned from transactions. You can choose which products or services count and customize it however you like. But remember: too many rules could discourage clients from engaging with your loyalty program.

Ways to earn points

If you have points enabled, there are five ways your clients can earn points:

  • Making a purchase
  • Leaving a review 
  • Booking online
  • Completing an appointment

Each of these are fully customizable, too. So it’s up to you how many points these earn. You might give 5 points per review, but 20 points when making a purchase (with a minimum purchase amount set at $50).

And you can add limits. For example, you might want to set a minimum appointment value to avoid clients booking lots of low value appointments to earn more points. 

Client rewards 

You can reward clients for their loyalty by giving them the below:

  • Amount discount (for example, £10 off their next booking)
  • Percentage discount (for example, 10% off their next booking)

  • Free product (for example, a free bottle of shampoo)

And it's completely up to you how much these rewards are worth. You choose how many points they need to be able to claim a free product, or how much they need to spend to climb to another tier.
