We’re excited it’s time again to announce our winners for our annual Best in Class and Highly Recommended awards, shining a spotlight on the best beauty and wellness businesses on Fresha.

And what better way to celebrate the businesses that stood out from the crowd in 2024 than to give them the recognition they deserve.

Our 2025 awards are made up of two tiers: Best in Class and Highly Recommended. These aren’t just words: as clients constantly look for reliable signs of quality service, these badges act as a quality seal for your business. 

So here’s everything you need to know about our awards, what makes a winner in 2025, and how to set your business up for awards success in 2026.

Fresha’s Awards 2025: the criteria 
Our winners are the best of the best on Fresha. And that’s out of over 100,000 beauty and wellness businesses. La creme de la creme.

We assessed a number of criteria throughout 2024, including: the amount of client reviews gathered, the average star rating of those reviews, and the total number of online bookings confirmed in 2024. 

Best in Class: you provide exceptional experiences on Fresha.

Highly Recommended: means you’ve been recognised for providing top quality services.

If you’ve won, here’s what you can expect
We’re sending out our exclusive winner packs in April 2025. You’ll get an awards certificate and a window sticker with your badge on it to display loudly and proudly (and it’s double-sided, so both passers-by and those in your venue can see it). 

Plus, winners will receive an online booking window sticker with bespoke QR codes that, when scanned, will take your clients straight to your booking page.

If you received an award last year, you might have spotted that we skipped the 2024 award

We made the decision to create awards for the current year, even though it’s based on the data from the year before. We wanted to make sure that the awards still felt relevant to the current year and followed best practice of other awards that are awarded in a similar way. 

And if you were sent a Book with us Online window sticker with last year’s award, we won't send you another this year as your previous one will still work. However, if you do want another one sent to you, let us know at hello@fresha.com and we'll post it with your awards sticker. 

Not awarded this year? Here’s how you can get up there 
More bookings, more reviews, more stars. Here’s what we recommend.

1. Get professional photos on your profile
Businesses that have professional photos on their profile get triple the amount of bookings. Professional photos are ones that are high quality and bring your venue to life (we’re talking good lighting and good angles).
Not only do high-quality, compelling images prove your business is credible, they’re your chance to show potential clients why they should pick your salon over a competitor. 

If you haven’t already, publish your profile, and add more photos that let your business shine. 

2. Send text reminders to your clients to get more reviews 
An easy way to boost reviews is to send texts directly to clients after their appointment. It’ll thank them for coming, and ask to review your venue. 
Set up automatic ‘Thank you for visiting’ texts with a link to leave a review after appointments.

3. Send blast campaigns to encourage more bookings
Blast emails are one-off campaigns that help keep you top of mind and get you booked up. You can offer discounts, remind clients of seasonal holidays coming up, or fill up any last-minute cancellations.
