Jill is a magician!! The New York winter and water had killed my curls, but Jill brought them back to life. So very professional and taught me about my hair and styling, while also keeping my preferences top of mind. The space is clean and modern, and the Self team were so wonderful.

The most amazing experience ever!! My mom, sister and I had our hair and make up done for my bridal shower. They were SERIOUSLY AMAZING. Everyone was complimenting us left and right!!! People asked where we got it done and are going to book with you soon!!! We love you!! Salon was in the most amazing space, right in the middle of red bank. So cute inside. Can’t wait to go back!!! Thank you so so so much!!!!!!!

This salon by far is the best one I have seen in New York City. It is really clean and all the staff are super friendly. Tina is our hair dresser who takes care of our family. She is wonderful. I wish them all the best.

She explained everything and took the time to make sure I felt confident moving forward. At my two-week follow-up, I was so happy with the results — natural and refreshed. The spa itself is gorgeous, calming, and the staff is incredibly friendly. I highly recommend!

From the mom to her daughter & all the staff there greeted me with such kindness.. They make sure I got the services I was looking for .. The name says it all .. Lynne was everything and more to my hair! My experience was very peaceful and therapeutic. From the washing to detangling to even the heat application I was in no sort of pain and she constantly checked in on me. Her energy was so sweet and I felt so comfortable for a first time visit. Regina was amazing. Initially came for a Russian manicure (which I loved!) and ended up getting a facial, eyebrow and eyelash lamination and laser hair removal. She was extremely gentle and explained every step along the way. She took her time to make sure my eyebrows came out perfect and had outstanding bedside manners. I cannot recommend Francisco enough! He did my hair and makeup for my bridal shower, and I left feeling like an absolute superstar. The look was flawless, glamorous, and exactly what I had envisioned—he has such an incredible eye for detail. Not only did I get endless compliments, but everything lasted perfectly the entire night without a single touch-up. Francisco is beyond talented and such a joy to work with—I’ll definitely be booking him again for future events!

First time at the salon. Went there because it’s my hairstylist new salon. The salon is very pretty, clean, and spacious. The staff were friendly. I was they have make up and facial services. Dina is amazing. Every time she does my hair I feel because and like a different woman.

Walter was ah-mazing as usual! I went in looking like a sick, overly tired mom and left feeling refreshed and awesome!! My eyes were completely transformed after he added a set of fabulous lashes and then getting henna on my eyebrows complimented the look! He’s like an artist with his skillful technique and application and has a sharp eye for detail. Walter also has great customer service skills, he listens to what his clients want and he cares. Walter’s just a chill and cool vibe all around and no, I’m not getting paid for this review, I’m just a loyal client!
