11/10 experience! This salon was clean and the staff was nice and efficient. I’ve been to many salons and this was the most thorough hair wash and scalp massage I’ve ever had. And Curly was just amazing! I had the best experience with him. He listened and took his time to get my cut as precise and perfect as possible. He also gave me styling tips and got my pin straight hair to look voluminous like I wanted. Glad I found my new go to spot, and for my cut to be under $100 with tip is unheard of in New York.

Jill is a magician!! The New York winter and water had killed my curls, but Jill brought them back to life. So very professional and taught me about my hair and styling, while also keeping my preferences top of mind. The space is clean and modern, and the Self team were so wonderful.

It was my first visit and it was lovely. I love my hair, I love the staff, I love my stylist (Lauren), I love the way the products smell, I love the way everything looks inside, I love their organization and the way they handle business. If I wasn't moving next month, this would be my permanent salon, but unfortunately I'm leaving New York. :(

Dorela did an absolutely amazing job with my hair! I have very thick & wavy hair, so I was a little nervous at first, but Dorela was fantastic! I did the keratin treatment and got a haircut, and she was very precise and took her time with every step. Dorela also keeps her salon super clean. I had an EXCELLENT experience at Brunetto Beauty Salon!! The atmosphere was so warm and welcoming and the whole staff was friendly, efficient and did beautiful work! I had a keratin treatment and my daughter had a blonding treatment. The end results for both of us were exactly what we had hoped for! I highly recommend visiting this wonderful, new establishment!

Last year I accompanied my friend to V&C Image and she got a haircut, scalp massage, and blow-dry, and she only had to pay $60 for everything. Yesterday, I got a keratin treatment at their salon for $450. They suggested a dry haircut since I can't wash my hair in 3 days for the same treatment, and it had an $80 surcharge. I didn't expect the haircut to be free, but I did expect it to be a bit more equivalent since it was just a trim without a blow-dry, and I didn't ask for it and it was in addition to the initial treatment.
