Jill is a magician!! The New York winter and water had killed my curls, but Jill brought them back to life. So very professional and taught me about my hair and styling, while also keeping my preferences top of mind. The space is clean and modern, and the Self team were so wonderful.

As always, my appointment at Self left me feeling like me again. I originally came to this spa for just one service, but I ended up coming back because the experience was that good. The team is incredibly attentive and welcoming, and the quality of service is consistently top-notch. Samantha, is amazing—her hands are truly gold. She has such a gentle touch and delivers everything with absolute perfection. Not only is she incredibly skilled, but she’s also very knowledgeable about the products she uses, and she takes the time to explain what’s best for your skin. I always leave feeling refreshed, pampered, and taken care of. Highly recommend!

First time at this salon and first time getting a smart pedicure. I had Natalilia as my technician. Since I was new to this process, I was not sure to expect. Everyone was kind and helpful. Natalilia was very sweet and checked in to make sure I was doing okay, if I liked the shape of nails, and she even helped me with getting my shoes on ( I was having hip pain). Overall great experience, will be scheduling in the future.

I’ve got to say, this is hands down the best haircut I’ve ever had. Eugene was very welcoming and made the whole experience really enjoyable. He explained what he was doing step by step, which I was pleasantly surprised by. I really appreciated how he took his time to make sure everything was perfect. I’m super happy with how it turned out and can’t wait to go back. Definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a great haircut!

I had a wonderful experience with Eugene! He listened to my inquiry, took time to look at photos and was very thorough in his application. He walked me through each part of my styling, his attention to precision was unlike any I have experienced before. My hair looks and feels incredible, he knew how to accent and frame my face. One of the best haircuts I’ve ever gotten! Jill truly cares about what she does and doesn’t rush the process. I have curly hair but living in NY, the water makes it so stale and flat. She cut it in such a way that it brought my hair back to life and gave me advice on how to make the most of my curls. I tried her technique immediately the next day and my hair has never been curlier! Thank you so much Jill and I will definitely be back!

I’ve been going to Suzy for almost three years now. She’s been with me since my hair was at chin length, blonde, and everything in between. Going to Suzy feels like going to see a friend. We catch up, she gives me amazing advice about my hair, and I feel leaving so confident. Suzy does such a fantastic job. She’s incredibly talented and has since cut/dyed the hair of several of my friends, who have all come back thanking me for referring them to Suzy. I’m grateful I was given to her as a client three years ago. I tell her that even if she or I moved away, I’d fly to her to get my hair cut.

Regina was amazing. Initially came for a Russian manicure (which I loved!) and ended up getting a facial, eyebrow and eyelash lamination and laser hair removal. She was extremely gentle and explained every step along the way. She took her time to make sure my eyebrows came out perfect and had outstanding bedside manners. Will definitely be coming back to do my eyebrows and eyelashes again. 10/10 recommend!!!!!! Thank you Regina 💕🙏🙏🙏

Regina, who performed my microneedling, is fantastic,professional, knowledgeable, and very informative throughout the entire process. This was my second session and I’m already loving the results so far. The treatment itself was completely painless, which made the experience even better. I did have some mild itching and redness afterward, which is expected, but Regina clearly explained what to expect and provided detailed aftercare guidance that made everything easy to manage. She takes the time to make you feel comfortable, answers all questions thoroughly. Definitely recommend

My first time getting a Brazilian wax and Lola was very understanding and comforting. Got a facial wax/threading too and I feel prettier with my eyebrows shaped up. Laura greeted me kindness and explained to me of the services available. The shop is a very cute and modern. I’m very glad that I stumbled across this place, will be going back.
