Learn how to add a new service by entering its details and selecting its price and duration.

How services work
Services are the treatments clients select when booking online, and they determine how appointments appear in your calendar. Each service includes key details like its name, price, and duration, helping clients understand what to expect and making it easy for your team to add the correct service in-store. You can organize services into categories and link any required resources.
Add basic service details
- From the main menu on the left of your screen, go to Catalog.
- Select Service menu from the left menu panel.

- Click on the Add button in the top right, then select Single service.

- In the New service view, enter the following under Basic details:
- Treatment name: The name that will appear in your menu and to clients when booking online.
- Menu category: Choose the category where this service should appear. This is visible to you and to clients online.
- Treatment type: Select the type that best describes the service you’re offering. This is used to help clients find your service on the marketplace.
- Description: Add a clear summary of what the service includes to help clients understand what to expect. Click on Generate with AI to create a suggested description.

- Under Pricing and duration enter the following
- Price type: Choose whether the service is Free, has a Fixed price, or starts From a minimum price.
- Price: The cost of the service based on the price type selected.
- Duration: The time needed to perform the service.

- Click on the Save button in the top right of the view to add the service to your menu.
Once created, the service can be customized with advanced pricing and add-ons. You can also assign team members, set locations, and enable online booking.
FAQs
You can manage the order of your services by updating the layout in your Service menu. Open Catalog, select Service menu from the menu on the left, and click Manage order button in the toolbar to rearrange your categories and services.
You can temporarily remove a service from your menu by archiving it. Open your Service menu, select Actions (three dots) next to the service, and choose Archive to hide it without deleting it.
Processing time (found within the service set up) allows team members to be free for other bookings while the client waits. Block time adds a gap for team members between appointments for cleaning or preparation.
When you update the price or duration of a service, a pop-up appears if there are future appointments booked with that service. You can choose to apply the new details by ticking the box in the pop-up. If you don’t apply the update, those existing appointments keep their original price and duration.
To apply your payment policy to an individual service, first set up your payment policy, then click on Customize per service and apply the policy to the specific service you want.
