Create service variants
Create service variants
Offer multiple pricing options for a single service and cater to diverse client needs using variants. Learn how to create and manage service variants.
Getting started
You can add service variants to any new or existing service. There are no steps needed beforehand for adding service variants, but we recommend having a clear idea of the prices and durations you want to set.
Creating service variants
You can apply multiple pricing options to a single service.

To create service variants:
- Open the Catalog and select Service menu.
- Click on an existing service or create a new one.
- Under Basic details, scroll down to Pricing and duration.
- Once the initial price and duration have been set, select Add variant.
- Enter the following details:
- Variant name:
Add a name for the variant, this can help clients understand the difference in cost. For example, "Long hair" or "Short hair". - Duration:
Time needed to perform the service. - Price type:
Set the price as Free, Fixed or starting From. - Price:
The price of the service variant.
- Variant name:
- From the menu select Settings and enter the SKU number. This allows you to identify the service variant in reports and exports.
- Click Add.
Repeat the above steps to add as many variants as needed.
To create service variants:
- Open the Catalog and select Service menu.
- Tap on an existing service and select Edit or create a new service.
- Under Basic details, scroll down to Pricing and duration.
- Once the initial price and duration have been set, select Add variant.
- Enter the following details:
- Variant name:
Add a name for the variant, this can help clients understand the difference in cost. For example, "Long hair" or "Short hair". - Duration:
Time needed to perform the service. - Price type:
Set the price as Free, Fixed or starting From. - Price:
The price of the service variant.
- Variant name:
- From the menu tap Settings and enter the SKU number. This allows you to identify the service variant in reports and exports.
- Tap Save.

Managing service variants
You can update and manage service variants at any time.
Edit service variant details

To edit a service variant:
- Open the Catalog and select Service menu.
- Click on an existing service or create a new one.
- Under Basic details, scroll down to Pricing and duration.
- Next to the relevant variant, click Actions and select Edit details.
- Update the variant details as needed.
- Click Apply.
To edit a service variant:
- Open the Catalog and select Service menu.
- Tap on an existing service and select Edit or create a new service.
- Under Basic details, scroll down to Pricing and duration.
- Next to the relevant variant, tap Actions (three dots) and select Edit details.
- Update the variant details as needed.
- Tap Apply.
Duplicate a service variant
Duplicating variants is useful when creating multiple variants with similar details, allowing you to change just one detail easily.

To edit a service variant:
- Open the Catalog and select Service menu.
- Click on an existing service or create a new one.
- Under Basic details, scroll down to Pricing and duration.
- Next to the relevant variant, click Actions and select Duplicate.
If you want to tweak the duplicated variant details, select Actions and Edit details. Update the details as needed and click Apply.
To edit a service variant:
- Open the Catalog and select Service menu.
- Tap on an existing service and select Edit or create a new service.
- Under Basic details, scroll down to Pricing and duration.
- Next to the relevant variant, the three dots and select Duplicate.
If you want to tweak the duplicated variant details, select Actions and Edit details. Update the details as needed and tap Apply.
Create advanced options for service variants

To add advanced pricing options for variants:
- Open the Catalog and select Service menu.
- Click on an existing service or create a new one.
- Under Basic details, scroll down to Pricing and duration.
- Next to the variant, click Actions and select Advanced options.
- Use the search bar and filters to find the relevant locations and team members.
- Next to each location and team member, update the following pricing information:
- Duration:
Time needed to perform the service. - Price type:
Set the price as Free, Fixed or starting From. - Price:
The price of the service.
- Duration:
- Click Save.

- Next to each location and team member, update the following pricing information:

- Tap Save.

To delete a service variant:
- Open the Catalog and select Service menu.
- Click on an existing service or create a new one.
- Under Basic details, scroll down to Pricing and duration.
- Next to the relevant variant, click Actions.
- Select Delete.
To delete a service variant:
- Open the Catalog and select Service menu.
- Tap on an existing service and select Edit or create a new service.
- Under Basic details, scroll down to Pricing and duration.
- Next to the relevant variant, tap the three dots.
- Select Delete.
