Set up and manage service booking sequencing
Set up a booking sequence for your services to ensure they’re booked and delivered in the correct order. Learn how to set up, manage, and edit your service sequence.
Getting started
Before setting up a service sequence, you’ll need to:
- Add all of your services.
- Enable online booking so clients can book services online.
How service sequencing works
Some services may need to be performed in a specific order. For example, in a hair salon, a cut and color will need to be done before a blow-dry. Creating a service sequence ensures that services are booked in the correct order.
When a client books multiple services like this online, they will be added to their cart in the order you have set. If a service isn't part of the sequence, it will be listed under "All other services" and added in the order the client selects.
Setting a booking sequence

To create a booking sequence:
- Open the Catalog and select Service menu.
- Click on Options and select Set booking sequence.
- Click Add service and select a service to include in the sequence.
- Repeat the above step for all services in the sequence.
- A block for All other services will appear for services not included in the sequence.
- Drag and drop the services into the order they should be booked in.
- Click Save.

- Tap Actions (the three dots) in the top right corner and select Set booking sequence.
- Tap Add service and select a service to include in the sequence.
- Repeat the above step for all services in the sequence.
- A block for All other services will appear for services not included in the sequence.
- Drag and drop the services into the order they should be booked in.
- Tap Save.
You can choose to make certain services bookable above or below “All other services” on your list.
Managing a booking sequence
Once set, the sequence applies automatically to online bookings. You can edit the sequence at any time.

To change the service booking sequence:
- Open the Catalog and select Service menu.
- Click on Options and select Set booking sequence.
- Drag and drop the services to rearrange the order.
- Click Save.
To change the service booking sequence:
- Open the Catalog and select Service menu.
- Tap on Actions (the three dots) in the top right corner and select Set booking sequence.
- Drag and drop the services to rearrange the order.
- Tap Save.
You can also click the three dots next to a service to Move up or Move down the list.
Remove a service from the booking sequence

To change the service booking sequence:
- Open the Catalog and select Service menu.
- Click on Options and select Set booking sequence.
- Find the service to remove, click the three dots, and select Remove.
- Click Save.

- Open the Catalog and select Service menu.
- Tap on Actions (the three dots) in the top right corner and select Set booking sequence.
- Find the service to remove, tap the three dots next to it, and select Remove.
- Tap Save.
