It’s my first time at The Knott and honestly I can’t say enough good things about it. An amazing haircut, and the best experience. Mary Ann was so kind and chatty and talked me through everything, I’m going back to lighten my hair next week and she made the process so easy and a joy. Couldn’t recommend enough!! If you’re in Folkestone and you need anything doing to your hair, this is the place to go!

I honestly can’t recommend lovely Nikita enough 🖤 from the moment you walk in the unholy hair studio you feel completely at ease. Nikita always makes me feel welcome, relaxed and safe to be myself in a judgement free salon space. Not only is the quality of her colour skills 5⭐️ but her listening skills are 5⭐️ too! It’s rare to find a hairdresser that ticks every box for talent and client centred care. If you are looking for more than just a haircut, pick this studio. I had a great experience. Kerry is amazing and does such a great job. She manages to blend my gray hair with a blond so well and I leave feeling like I look years younger! I highly recommend her and she also did an incredible job for my mother's transformation from dark brunette to her natural silver - a process that took months, but she knew what she was doing and had been recommended by another hairdresser as being an expert on color. Fabulous results! :)

Amazing hairdresser. Nikita was really friendly and welcoming and very skilled. I'm so pleased with my haircut. She listened to my concerns and used her expertise to bring life back into my hair! Lovely atmosphere in the salon too. Even got a delicious salted caramel latte!

Fantastic, I was well looked after. My stylist was always checking in on my hair and wether I was comfortable and asking about what would like to do with my hair. I'm so happy with how my hair came out, it's my favourite colour and style yet.

Lemana is the balayage queen! Thank you so much as always. The workhouse is by far the best hair salon in Folkestone, Hayley has created such a chilled vibe. The atmosphere is just so lovely. Wouldn’t go anywhere else. The dream team ❤️

Such a luxurious facial and massage experience - I feel thoroughly pampered, super relaxed, and loved every minute of these treatments. By far the best facial and massage experience I've had from any salon in the Folkestone/Cheriton area.

First time here, I had walked in to see if they had space and they booked me straight in for later in the day. On arrival the gentleman on the desk (I didn’t catch his name) was so accommodating and checked if I would like refreshments throughout. Lola was great, she listened tentatively about my hair and asked about taking before and after pics. She spent over an hour sorting my hair and it turned out great! I’ve had bad experiences in the past at salons but next time I’m in Folkestone I will be returning to redhed.
