It’s my first time at The Knott and honestly I can’t say enough good things about it. An amazing haircut, and the best experience. Mary Ann was so kind and chatty and talked me through everything, I’m going back to lighten my hair next week and she made the process so easy and a joy. Couldn’t recommend enough!! If you’re in Folkestone and you need anything doing to your hair, this is the place to go!

It's my first time coming to the Knott and I loved my experience. From my first consultation, I was put at ease, I have curly hair and for the first time ever really wanted it to be cut by someone that understood what my hair needed. Instantly I felt that they knew what they were talking about and put my trust in them to know what to do to my hair. My trust definitely wasn't miss placed as I have left with an amazing new haircut which is perfect for my curly hair, it's never felt healthier (especially after a bleach!) and the colour has expertly been done to really reflect the curls. Had a wonderful 90-minute deep tissue full body massage with Natasha today. She was professional, attentive, and made me feel completely at ease. The pressure was perfect, and she really worked on the areas holding tension. I left feeling deeply relaxed, lighter, and still slightly blissed out hours later. Exactly what I needed. First time here, I had walked in to see if they had space and they booked me straight in for later in the day. On arrival the gentleman on the desk (I didn’t catch his name) was so accommodating and checked if I would like refreshments throughout. Lola was great, she listened tentatively about my hair and asked about taking before and after pics. She spent over an hour sorting my hair and it turned out great! I’ve had bad experiences in the past at salons but next time I’m in Folkestone I will be returning to redhed.

I always try and book a massage at Core whenever I visit my mum in Folkestone. And they always make me so welcome, and deliver the best treatments. I live in London where we are surrounded by places to get massages, but I have to admit that the standard at Core is better than anything I ever get in London. I am currently 7 months pregnant and felt like I had a little retreat from my toddler and home life for the hour I was there. Cannot recommend enough!!

This was my first experience at Redhed and I can’t recommend it enough! I’ve had bad experiences in the past where hairdressers havnt listened to what I wanted so I’m always very cautious about going to a new place. I immediately felt welcomed by the whole team and could sense that this was the place for me - the vibes were 👌🏻. Allanah was super patient with me, we did a very thorough consultation and throughout the hair cut she kept checking in with me to make sure I was happy and I am over the moon with the final result! 🙌🏻 Also they have cute dogs 🫶🏻
