It’s my first time at The Knott and honestly I can’t say enough good things about it. An amazing haircut, and the best experience. Mary Ann was so kind and chatty and talked me through everything, I’m going back to lighten my hair next week and she made the process so easy and a joy. Couldn’t recommend enough!! If you’re in Folkestone and you need anything doing to your hair, this is the place to go!

It's my first time coming to the Knott and I loved my experience. From my first consultation, I was put at ease, I have curly hair and for the first time ever really wanted it to be cut by someone that understood what my hair needed. Instantly I felt that they knew what they were talking about and put my trust in them to know what to do to my hair. My trust definitely wasn't miss placed as I have left with an amazing new haircut which is perfect for my curly hair, it's never felt healthier (especially after a bleach!) and the colour has expertly been done to really reflect the curls. First time here, I had walked in to see if they had space and they booked me straight in for later in the day. On arrival the gentleman on the desk (I didn’t catch his name) was so accommodating and checked if I would like refreshments throughout. Lola was great, she listened tentatively about my hair and asked about taking before and after pics. She spent over an hour sorting my hair and it turned out great! I’ve had bad experiences in the past at salons but next time I’m in Folkestone I will be returning to redhed.

Can't get better experience then this salon ,specially with very friendly staff and very experience Sarah. Consultation without any pressure to book appointment. Book my next appointment without any hesitation. Thank you.

1st time appointment, brilliant consultation beforehand, looking forward to my ongoing hair journey with Sarah and her team. Such a lovely experience, excellent advice, that made sense to me as an oldie with curly/wavy hair that does its own thing.

This was my first experience at Redhed and I can’t recommend it enough! I’ve had bad experiences in the past where hairdressers havnt listened to what I wanted so I’m always very cautious about going to a new place. I immediately felt welcomed by the whole team and could sense that this was the place for me - the vibes were 👌🏻. Allanah was super patient with me, we did a very thorough consultation and throughout the hair cut she kept checking in with me to make sure I was happy and I am over the moon with the final result! 🙌🏻 Also they have cute dogs 🫶🏻
