I went into my appointment feeling blah and was *feeling myself* by the time I left. I can’t give Harix enough praise! He is SO talented and I could not be happier with my cut and color. He is equal parts artist and stylist, which is especially crucial when it comes to curly hair. He also has a wonderful vibe and I immediately felt at ease. This is by far the best hair service I’ve ever received. Harix is truly a curly hair expert and I’m so grateful to have found him! Roots Radicals is also a lovely salon. Everyone there was kind, professional, and knowledgeable. I recommend it to everyone!

I had the most incredible experience at Pressed Studio! First visit and I will now be a regular client. I had a photoshoot in Brooklyn for my website and CeCe did an amazing job styling my hair. I received so many compliments! My fabulous hair looked just as amazing the next day. THRILLED with the results. Also, Cece was friendly and really listened to what I wanted - then delivered! I have lost count how many years I’ve been going to Marianna but it’s at least five in her new studio so maybe 7??? Every time she knows exactly what to do for blonde~ especially because sometimes I just walk in and I’m like “do your thing” and it turns out great. She’s funny, explains hair process well, easy to talk to and if there’s a few people in the salon at once, everyone talks to each other, so I feel like I’ve definitely met some awesome peeps over the years. For someone who used to go back to Connecticut every time to get her hair done, so glad to have found her!!!

Gina was so amazing! My hair was dead and flat when I came in. She listened to what I wanted out of the haircut and recommended some solutions and did such an amazing job. I can’t recommend her and this salon enough after encountering so many bad salons in Brooklyn. So happy to have FINALLY found a salon I plan on coming back to for future haircuts.

I’ve left curly hair salons before feeling like I can’t replicate it at home. Not here! Harix is incredible knowledgeable of curly hair and also understands the importance of his clients having a practical routine they can do at home. 11/10 experience! This salon was clean and the staff was nice and efficient. I’ve been to many salons and this was the most thorough hair wash and scalp massage I’ve ever had. And Curly was just amazing! I had the best experience with him. He listened and took his time to get my cut as precise and perfect as possible. He also gave me styling tips and got my pin straight hair to look voluminous like I wanted. Glad I found my new go to spot, and for my cut to be under $100 with tip is unheard of in New York.

What can I say?! You don't mess with perfection. It's like your favorite restaurant! It's consistent and you always know what you're going to get. The best part is seeing Karen. She is simply the best! The gift that keeps on giving. . . . So many people stop me on the street to ask where I get my hair done. This salon is a "cut above the rest!"

Lovely salon. Calm atmosphere. Most importantly I get a great haircut and perfect highlights.

This was my first time at the salon. Mino did a great job with my super curly hair! I didn’t know what to expect, so I brought a picture of the cut I wanted. Although he cut it a little shorter than what I wanted I suspect he did so for the health of my hair. Also, it will grow in and probably reach the length I want soon. I’m always skeptical of if a stylist can figure out how to deal with my African hair texture if they have a different hair texture, but he handled it well. My hair felt healthier, more hydrated when he was done.

Overall experience was a 10/10!! I got my boho braids done by Denise and I’ve never been happier with how my hair looks. Everyone was friendly and welcoming, the salon is well maintained and comfortable, and the stylists are patient and supportive. I am overly satisfied with my visit here and I am definitely going to be a regular. If you need your hair done, this is the place to be!!!

My experience at Balayage Me Hair salon was amazing. The ladies were so attentive to my needs, offered coffee and made me feel welcome. I have never died my hair before and came in for a Brunette Balayage sun kiss look and they nailed it I would definitely recommend this place!

I researched for months, but kept coming back to her work, and finally booked my session for a cut and full-balayage. My appointment was incredibly fast and efficient, considering how thick and long my hair is. Her salon is small and welcoming - not overwhelming at all.She expertly cut my hair, listened to every request I had on my color and length, and corrected a very outgrown color job from a year prior. Can't recommend her, or say enough good things about my experience at Eti Hair Studio!
