I came to the salon with three years of post-chemo therapy growth and it was wild. Robert did a brilliant job of cutting and styling my hair to perfection. I left feeling wonderful and my frizzy, coarse curls were soft, manageable and practically smiling themselves. He is a true curl whisperer.

Honestly Fabio was a lifesaver for my engagement shoot. The hotel water in NYC was not kind to my hair, and you could never tell with how Fabio styled and washed my hair! The blowout and style lasted for days, and his salon is so quick. Located in the UES, I'd make any excuse to go back here!

This salon is so welcoming and friendly! They’re also extremely experienced. The stylists and colorists are phenomenal! David took my dark hair all the way to a flattering blonde with highlights. Trish is consistently one of the best colorists I've been to in NYC. She is brilliant with long, wavy hair for cuts, color, and blow-dries. The salon staff are welcoming and friendly. It's a 10 every time!

Caesar always gives me an excellent haircut, just walked into my apartment and a friend said "great haircut." Their salon is very pleasant, personal and has a great relaxed vibe. I always see other people looking great when they finish working on them as well.

I just got my 2nd haircut with Chi. My first one was last fall when I was working in NYC for a few months,. I loved the asymmetrical style she gave me so much that I returned this weekend though I'm only visiting the city for a few days. My salon in San Francisco just doesn't match up! Chi has an eye for what will look good, and makes it happen with such ease.

I had a fantastic styling done by Ali (truly incredible), but he made comments that my hair didn’t need to be straightened and tried to persuade me to go against what I consider, as an African American in a hair salon, to be a finished look following a blow out. Again, he did an absolutely beautiful job, but the repeat comments (both during this appointment and my last appointment with him) made me feel like I wasn’t a valued customer and felt like he did not want to do my hair. Still very happy and very grateful, but that didn’t feel great.

I had a wonderful experience at the salon with Nevila today! Ever since my favorite salon (Devachan) closed, I’d been searching (without much luck) for a place or stylist that came close to what I was used to. Until today. It was such a joy to finally find someone who truly understands and honors how to work with curly hair. I had such an amazing experience with Dina at Bon Bon Salon! She completely understood what I wanted and made my hair look even better than I imagined. She’s so kind, talented, and really pays attention to detail. My hair feels so healthy and looks gorgeous — I’ve gotten so many compliments since! During my stay in New York, I decided to get my hair cut. Online, I found an independent hairdresser in Union Square. On the 12th floor of a historic building, I met Marianna and her assistant Annie in a small salon. The atmosphere was very pleasant, calm, with relaxing lounge music playing. Marianna was very focused and took great care and attention to detail with my haircut, which I love. Even after the first wash, my hair looks fantastic. (I never blow dry my hair). Thank you for this authentic New York experience.
