I went into my appointment feeling blah and was *feeling myself* by the time I left. I can’t give Harix enough praise! He is SO talented and I could not be happier with my cut and color. He is equal parts artist and stylist, which is especially crucial when it comes to curly hair. He also has a wonderful vibe and I immediately felt at ease. This is by far the best hair service I’ve ever received. Harix is truly a curly hair expert and I’m so grateful to have found him! Roots Radicals is also a lovely salon. Everyone there was kind, professional, and knowledgeable. I recommend it to everyone!

I have lost count how many years I’ve been going to Marianna but it’s at least five in her new studio so maybe 7??? Every time she knows exactly what to do for blonde~ especially because sometimes I just walk in and I’m like “do your thing” and it turns out great. She’s funny, explains hair process well, easy to talk to and if there’s a few people in the salon at once, everyone talks to each other, so I feel like I’ve definitely met some awesome peeps over the years. For someone who used to go back to Connecticut every time to get her hair done, so glad to have found her!!!

What can I say?! You don't mess with perfection. It's like your favorite restaurant! It's consistent and you always know what you're going to get. The best part is seeing Karen. She is simply the best! The gift that keeps on giving. . . . So many people stop me on the street to ask where I get my hair done. This salon is a "cut above the rest!"

Harix is incredible knowledgeable of curly hair and also understands the importance of his clients having a practical routine they can do at home. I am a first time customer at Balayage Me hair salon- it is a great experience being a customer there. I used my first Groupon promotion here- it was a smooth process. Ineesa and Johnny did an AMAZING job with the joint services provided- partial balayage, haircut, Olaplex (shampoo), toner, and blow dry. The salon owner David and staff are very patient, professional, and polite- they answered all the questions I had about the Groupon salon services visit. I highly recommend this hair salon. I am very grateful and very satisfied with the result.

11/10 experience! This salon was clean and the staff was nice and efficient. I’ve been to many salons and this was the most thorough hair wash and scalp massage I’ve ever had. And Curly was just amazing! I had the best experience with him. He listened and took his time to get my cut as precise and perfect as possible. He also gave me styling tips and got my pin straight hair to look voluminous like I wanted. Glad I found my new go to spot, and for my cut to be under $100 with tip is unheard of in New York.

Lovely salon. Calm atmosphere. Most importantly I get a great haircut and perfect highlights.

Overall experience was a 10/10!! I got my boho braids done by Denise and I’ve never been happier with how my hair looks. Everyone was friendly and welcoming, the salon is well maintained and comfortable, and the stylists are patient and supportive. I am overly satisfied with my visit here and I am definitely going to be a regular. If you need your hair done, this is the place to be!!!

My girl, Maria was THE sweetest! I’ve never gone to a salon to have my hair done before and she gave me such a great experience. She was warm from the start and gave me advice on my hair. She listened to me and made me feel heard! I brushed my hair out a bit more when I got home, as I wanted a more relaxed look and it was perfect! Two days later, and my hair still looks event ready. Nercy and her team go out of their way to make your experience world class. Often times I can’t make it into NYC to see Nercy and forced to visit a local hair salon and even the stylist there notices/comment on the really nice work of my previous haircutter (i.e., Nercy).

Michael always does a good job with my hair and he’s a lovely person, so I really enjoy my visits to the salon.
