I had the most amazing experience with Candyce at Jamal Amal Hair Salon! In which from the moment I walked in, she made me feel so welcomed and at ease. She truly understands hair and took the time to listen to what I wanted, offering expert advice along the way. The end result was beyond my expectations. In all honesty my hair has never looked or felt better! Whiles on the other hand her attention to detail, skill, and warm coupled with her personality made the entire appointment such a joy. Roberto is always great. I don’t do the same style every time for my short hair and he’s always happy to try something new for me. He also gives good advice when I can’t decide between some styles. The salon is always clean and they have good products for hair wash and style.

London is knowledgeable, she’s professional, and a very talented stylist. Every time I sit in her chair she teaches me more about my hair type and what products/ techniques will work best for me while maintaining my install. Genuinely the best haircut I’ve gotten in NYC. I’ve gone to quite a few different salons dedicated to curly hair, including traveling all the way to Jersey to get a proper cut. And in all instances I’ve left underwhelmed, with a cut that was not what I had asked for. This experience was the exact opposite! She took the time to take into account the different curl patterns I have, my daily styling routine, what I wanted and what was achievable. I left the appointment looking and feeling amazing! The Professionalism of Qiu, Debbie provided exceptional service that exceeded my expectations. I opted for the Milbon Japanese hair treatment, Hair Color, and weeks after keratin treatment, and I very happy with the results. Qiu’s expertise shone through as he expertly assessed my hair's needs recommended the best treatments for me.
