I am satisfied every time I go there. Rosie is an amazing stylist, and color specialist and the salon is beautifully kept. I cannot say enough about Rosie and her hair studio. I am lucky to have driven past her place a year ago. Since then my entire family goes to her!

Curly is always attentive, pay attention to details. The salon is clean, hair washing is so relaxing, always managed to nap for the duration of the wash. Highly recommend!

Loved everything about my visit to this hair salon. I went in for a haircut and conditioning treatment. Moses was my stylist and he was SO nice, explained to me everything and super detailed. Small things I noticed I appreciated because I’ve been too long in NYC non Asian salons and their service is not good. Assistant washed my hair so good and massaged my scalp, also, she mentioned every time she put something new in my hair. The hair cut was seriously one of the best I’ve ever had in my life. I always kept it LONG so I wanted something different. I look so much younger now ❤️😄.

Maria is a hair demigod. I went in asking for a smokey root and full foils (a big job) and I came out looking effortlessly chic. Even while my roots are growinig in my hair remains elegant and expensive looking. Her salon itself is gallery-like and peaceful. All around A+

Excellent! We arrived when they were closing, but they still accommodated us and the hair dresser did a fabulous job! Furthermore, their charges aren't as high as one might find at most salons and the service was worth every penny! I have certainly been converted into a regular!

Kevin did a fantastic job with my hair. The overall experience was great—he’s a wonderful conversationalist and regularly checked in about temperature, pressure, etc. Salon was clean & everyone working there was friendly and welcoming. Really love this salon, will definitely be coming back.

I was able to make an appointment within 24 hours, the balyage process flew by, everyone was very accommodating & it's a very relaxed/chill atmosphere. This is my 3rd time coming here & I'm always really pleased with the results. He never cuts my hair shorter than necessary for a trim & the color came out beautifully. If you're looking for a salon to go & chat for hours this may not be the place for you. If you want to get in & have someone focus and do an outstanding job, see David.

The salon is so clean and now being next door to a dessert shop the bathroom surprisingly, and pleasantly smells like a bakery. Obsessed with the succulents. Maria always does beautiful color and it blends seamlessly with my roots no matter how long between visits. Elia is an absolute prize and gives the most incredible head massage during the hair washing. I would come back just for this-it's mesmerizing. Just when I think it's over she keeps going back in for more to the point where I have to ask myself, "this is too indulgent, how did I ever manage to deserve this level of luxury?"

I made a same day appointment for a hair cut, shampoo, blow dry and bayalage and got to work with Ms. Zelda. She was polite, friendly and all around phenomenal. She did a great job of checking in with me at every step. She was meticulous and detail-oriented. I really appreciated her attention to detail and I left with the best bayalage I've ever had. It looked SO natural and blended SO well, I really cant say enough. I think I've found my new go-to person. The salon itself was clean and friendly. I am VERY picky about my hair and I would confidently 100% recommend working with Zelda.

Ainur took SUCH great care of me today! I had never been to this salon, but decided to come since I saw great reviews online. I showed Ainur images of what I wanted (icy blonde underlights and a face framing highlight) and she was so open and happy to help me achieve this look! My natural hair color is about a 1B/2N. I also had box dyed the bottom half of my hair blonde. It was uneven and darker than I wanted. Ainur worked on my hair for 5 hours! Carefully checking the bleach and reapplying as needed. Once finished, both other clients at the salon complimented my hair! I couldn't be happier!

I had a great experience from the time I walked in the door. Literally the best my natural hair has ever been treated and I trusted the stylist Leena to cut my hair. She really went in and made sure every strand was attended to. Her hands are blessed lol. 10/10 I will be back. They make the salon experience worth it

I've been seeing Harix for 3 years now and he does an amazing job every time. I love this salon because they pay close attention to your hair texture and are thoughtful about explaining the cut, color, and care process. I recommend them to all my curly-haired friends!

The only salon that can actually do my 3C course hair and get it to be pin straight and super soft. I recommend Birtha for blowouts. Shauna balayaged my hair and was able to make my curls even more healthier than they were before! Always get compliments!

My comments should really be called a tribute.! Roots Radicals Salon is quite an incredible discovery!!!!! Hairix , proved that there are stylists who have a special connection to their craft, to their art and that they do exist. These empowered stylists are tasked with hairdressing not as a practice but more as a celebration. In other words they are really connected. My visit with Hairix was not only a great personal experience but also a great learning experience. Hairix showed me how to love my hair and how to keep it happy ,healthy beautiful and nurtured!!!!!

Tatiana always nails my haircut the first time. Most salons do not. I leave feeling cute and isn't that what matters. A good haircut is consistent and precise. This is both!

I just had my color done and couldn't be happier with the results! I went in with damaged, yellow highlights from another salon and Mike not only corrected the damage but gave me a beautiful blonde color that matches my skin tone and is exactly what I wanted! The salon itself is beautiful and the entire experience was relaxing and enjoyable. I've actually never written a review of a salon, but this was such a fabulous experience over all that I wanted to make sure to get the word out. Mike is a true magician and transformed my hair from damaged to the best hair I've ever had!

My boyfriend and I went together. He had haircut and hair perm. According to him, after the hairdo, his hair is very easy to take care of. I got hair treatment since my hair was damaged after getting dyed from another salon. The staff were very detail-oriented when doing the treatment. Now my hair is a lot smoother than before. Always the best hair salon in NYC.

Had a great first experience at this salon! The booking process was very easy, and the salon is spacious and most importantly, clean. I got a root perm and hair cut done by Carmen, and she did a fantastic job! She understood exactly what I wanted and was attentive throughout the whole process. This was my first time getting a root perm and it came out very nice and natural. The hair cut was also exactly what I wanted with no over-cutting. Also, this salon has Chinese and English speaking staff, so don't hesitate to book here even if you don't know Chinese. Would highly recommend :)
