I had a wonderful experience at H2. Similar to other natural hair salons I’ve been to, but the vibe was a little more open and friendly. My natural hairstylist was amazing. She gave me great recommendations on products to use and how often I should be getting my ends trimmed. The whole process was straightforward from booking in to get in there to get my hair done. Everything was effortless and straightforward. I look forward to my follow-up in January.

The best salon in Brooklyn period. Whether I do a silk press or wig install my type 4 natural hair always looks amazing!! They never have you waiting all day like other stylists Ive been to. It's just amazing, highly recommend.

This salon is so welcoming and friendly! They’re also extremely experienced. The stylists and colorists are phenomenal! David took my dark hair all the way to a flattering blonde with highlights. Raven is a gem. Any questions or concerns I had she answered. I was nervous prior to my appointment and she made me feel at ease in her hands. My hair came out amazing. As for the salon, it’s calm and inviting.

I just got my 2nd haircut with Chi. My first one was last fall when I was working in NYC for a few months,. I loved the asymmetrical style she gave me so much that I returned this weekend though I'm only visiting the city for a few days. My salon in San Francisco just doesn't match up! Chi has an eye for what will look good, and makes it happen with such ease.

I had such an amazing experience with Dina at Bon Bon Salon! She completely understood what I wanted and made my hair look even better than I imagined. She’s so kind, talented, and really pays attention to detail. My hair feels so healthy and looks gorgeous — I’ve gotten so many compliments since! From the sophisticated colour the international expert colourist /stylist Ludovic gives me every time, which leaves my hair soft and shiny, to the professional and super friendly service I consistently get from everyone who works at Toka, from the receptionists to the assistants. During my stay in New York, I decided to get my hair cut. Online, I found an independent hairdresser in Union Square. On the 12th floor of a historic building, I met Marianna and her assistant Annie in a small salon. The atmosphere was very pleasant, calm, with relaxing lounge music playing. Marianna was very focused and took great care and attention to detail with my haircut, which I love. Even after the first wash, my hair looks fantastic. (I never blow dry my hair). Thank you for this authentic New York experience.

Cabello is mainly a men's barber shop, and I anticipated they would cut, and even out my hair, but I would go to another salon if I wanted to have it cut and styled further.
