How wifi works on a Fresha card terminal
Your Fresha card terminal connects automatically through its built-in cellular network, so it’s ready to use right away.
In areas with limited cellular coverage, the card terminal can be connected to Wi-Fi to help maintain a stable connection. For the best performance, we recommend using the default cellular network, as weak Wi-Fi signals may occasionally interrupt transactions.
Enable wifi on a Fresha card terminal
- On your card terminal home screen, select the Settings icon.
- Select Network and enter PIN 5358, then tap the Confirm button (tick icon).
- Tap on Wi-Fi from the options.
- Choose the Wi-Fi network you would like to join
- In the pop-up, enter the Wi-Fi password and tap Connect.
Once Wi-Fi is enabled, a Wi-Fi icon appears ot the top of the screen to confirm the connection.
Disable wifi on a Fresha card terminal
- On your card terminal home screen, select the Settings icon.
- Select Network and enter PIN 5358.
- Select Wifi from the options.
- Disable the toggle next to Use Wifi.
Once Wi-Fi is disabled, a 4G icon appears at the top of the screen to confirm the card terminal is now connected to the cellular network.
