How do manual payments using a card terminal work
Manual charge allows you to enter a total amount directly on your card terminal without raising a sale in your workspace. Once manual charge is enabled, all payments are processed directly on the card terminal rather than through the checkout screen.
All manual charge transactions, including tips, appear as Card payments in your wallet and sales reports. They’re listed as walk-in appointments with a Misc service, without any specific service attached.
We do not recommend using manual charge on a card terminal if you want to report on your terminal sales in Fresha.
