How Fresha card terminal updates work
Your Fresha card terminal automatically installs updates overnight while it’s plugged in and charging. This ensures your terminal always runs the latest software with important security fixes, performance improvements, and setup changes.
If your terminal wasn’t plugged in or connected during an automatic update, you can start the update manually at any time. Updates are completed directly on the terminal and usually take just a few minutes.
Update your Fresha card terminal
Before you start updating your terminal, make sure your terminal is at least 50% charged.
- On your Fresha card terminal home screen, select the Settings icon.
- Select Configuration and enter PIN 5358, then tap the Confirm button (tick icon).
- Tap on Update to install the latest version of the card terminal.
Once the update is complete, the card terminal status will change to Up to date.
