Best haircut I've ever had. Rosemarie has magic scissors. I don't usually leave a hair salon feeling confident. I have very thick, wavy/curly hair & there have been too many botched haircuts to count. It's not unusual for me to end up fixing my own hair at home. This time was different. Rosemarie instantly became my go-to girl.

Marq is the TRUTH!!! A master at his craft from cutting to styling and color omgosh he's THE BEST for me!!! The salon is very clean, atmosphere is a vibe good music and great people. All stylist are great at what they do. Book your appointment NOW you will not be disappointed.

It was awesome. Curly, the director of stylist has been cutting my hair for many years. Pay attention to details, never felt rushed. Also had my hair colored (Jessica), always a wonderful job. The hair washing was so clean and the water pressure was perfect. Best of all, it is so well priced especially for the service and skill they offer. Overall a 5/5.

Excellent first time visit to this salon. I did the olaplex treatment + haircut and blow dry special. The stylist was very detail oriented and took his time and in return I have one of the best cuts and blowouts I’ve ever had! Will be back 100%. Thank you!!

As always, the hair salon was clean snd the staff is very courteous . Sheila greeted me with a big smile and gave me an excellent haircut. She is very professional and ensures that I'm good throughout the entire experience. I can absolutely say I was very satisfied leaving the salon. Sheila is definitely the best.

What a treat it is to come get my haircut and spend time with the lovely ladies at Crissel New York! Crissel is not only a phenomenal hairdresser but also kind, thoughtful, and funny. I always have such a great time chatting with her and her awesome crew (namely Rosie and Susie). Crissel always makes me look and feel fabulous... and at a great price. Even after moving away from the neighborhood, I still maker the trek back because I know I can rely on Crissel to make me look my best (and give me a few good laughs). Highly recommend this wonderful salon!

I had a great experience with Gina. This is my first time getting a short hair cut and she answered every question and made me feel very comfortable and took me through it step by step to the length that I will feel more comfortable in. My experience with Gina was amazing but the lady at the front desk with the long straightened hair was very rude to the stylist in which made me feel uncomfortable. Besides that I had an overall good experience and I love my haircut

This was my first visit to Tribeca Hair Salon and I understand why it is a local favorite! The salon is not flashy or highly stylish, but the hairdressers here are pros at what they do. Karen was my stylist and she gave me a free consultation- genuinely wanted to know what I needed and she delivered the best haircut and highlights I’ve had in years. I highly recommend her expert color knowledge and haircut techniques. I am so happy with my results. This is a hair salon customers return to. Thank you!

Self Bushwick is a chill dome. Gina is my favorite stylist. Her sense for nuance and color/tint gave my hair a renewed lift without looking "set" or "dyed" and the shape she created enhanced my natural wave. 5 stars to Self Bushwick! Thank you Gina!

It was my first time in this salon and I was quite nervous to get a haircut because of how long my hair was and to how short i wanted it. And especially since I have curly hair. I felt completely welcomed and was complimented left and right and I never felt happier in a gorgeous hair salon. I love my hair, I love my stylist. if I had to rate it from a scale of 1-10 it would be a 12/10! I will be coming back!

The service itself is always top notch. The usual 'go to' stylist, Victoria, was fully booked but Janet was available and did a marvelous job with my color and blowout. Thank you so much, Janet, and the whole team at SELF for always making me look my very best. Happy Holidays
