It’s my first time at The Knott and honestly I can’t say enough good things about it. An amazing haircut, and the best experience. Mary Ann was so kind and chatty and talked me through everything, I’m going back to lighten my hair next week and she made the process so easy and a joy. Couldn’t recommend enough!! If you’re in Folkestone and you need anything doing to your hair, this is the place to go!

First time at Redhed and so happy with my colour. Lola is so lovely, and really took on board what I wanted for my end result. The atmosphere of the salon is also great, with the added comfort of Betty, the dog, sitting with me throughout. Would definitely recommend! Thank you.

Nikita always makes me feel welcome, relaxed and safe to be myself in a judgement free salon space. Not only is the quality of her colour skills 5⭐️ but her listening skills are 5⭐️ too! I’ve been having my hair coloured and cut by Kerry now for the past 6 months and I’m never disappointed with it. Every time I have my hair done, I always get complimented by family, friends and work colleagues on how nice the colour is (red) and how it’s cut. Not only is Kerry a very professional stylist but you can tell how much she cares about her business and her work colleagues as they are also lovely and easy to talk to as well. Thank you Kerry x

I attended for a laser treatment patch test. Mujde at Radiance Beauty took SUCH good care of me. She explained all about the Duetta laser technology used at the salon (better treatment for skins with colour). The patch test was explained really carefully and carried out in different places with different settings. Mudje was truly lovely. She is warm, friendly and professional. She was keen that I understood how the laser worked and the likely results I could expect. I would have no hesitation recommending Radiance for laser treatment.

First time here, I had walked in to see if they had space and they booked me straight in for later in the day. On arrival the gentleman on the desk (I didn’t catch his name) was so accommodating and checked if I would like refreshments throughout. Lola was great, she listened tentatively about my hair and asked about taking before and after pics. She spent over an hour sorting my hair and it turned out great! I’ve had bad experiences in the past at salons but next time I’m in Folkestone I will be returning to redhed.

Lola is always amazing with my hair, we work together to decide what I’m going to go for next, and she gives great advice and my hair always looks amazing. She takes so much care over the cutting, colour mix selection for my highlights, the styling, to get it just right.
