After 3 years of living in Edinburgh and trying different places I am so glad I found VelvetBrows! I always used to end up with thin eyebrows after threading which I always told any beautician I don’t want before starting, however Zivile really listens and she’s done a tremendous job in shaping my eyebrows (threading only) without thinning them. She is very professional and very passionate about what she does, I would strongly recommend Velvet Brows! Now I need to look no further as I’ll always come back here

I have been coming to see Denise regularly for the last couple of years (brows +Brazilian) and cannot recommend her more. She makes you feel comfortable, is aware of your skin type and the premises is spotless. I'm moving away from edinburgh and finding someone with the same standards is going to be a tall order!

Amazing just amazing! Brooke is the best hairdresser ever she is quick, efficient, understands just what you want, and has amazing attention to detail. There has never been a time where I’ve been frustrated or didn’t like the work she has done, and she always advices me the best way she can about hairstyles. She’s just out of this world and if I ever move from Edinburgh I’ll have to come back every once in a while to get my hair done.

Incredible! Magda is very talented and is the best nail technician I have been to in Edinburgh! Her design work is detailed and gorgeous. She is also very friendly and we have great conversation. It is clear she loves her job and is very good at what she does. I would highly recommend this salon and especially Magda she is amazing!!!

I have been to Shaz a few times now for eyebrow/eyelash tints, eyebrows, lip, chin threading. She is great at what she does and puts you at ease. Always very relaxing. People always comment how lovely eyebrows/lashes look afterwards. Would definitely recommend

I had a fantastic experience with Claire who has done multiple eyebrow tint and tidies + lash lifts for me. She’s an amazing professional who takes into consideration every aspect of a client’s request. I walk out of every appointment feeling beautiful and fully satisfied with the result. Absolutely obsessed with my lashes by Taylor’s Lashes 😭✨ Taylor genuinely understood the assignment from start to finish. The lashes are SO beautiful, soft, wispy, and perfectly suited to my face — not heavy, not overdone, just that effortless. The attention to detail, patience, cleanliness, and comfort… everything was 10/10. I felt so relaxed the entire appointment. You can tell she actually cares about her work and wants her clients to leave feeling pretty and confident. I even received 3 free lash brushes, which was such a cute little extra touch 🥹 Highly recommend 🤍
