The best spa experience in Canberra, for sure. I had my first visit today, based on word of mouth, and the word was right. Had a 2 ritual package with relaxing massage and basic facial. Jocelyn, my therapist, gave a great massage with just the right amount of pressure and she found the right spots. My facial made my face glow, the plunge pool and sauna were great, and the lounge was very relaxing. I honestly could have stayed many more hours, just lolling around, had I time on my side. I will return.

Wish I had realised I could use the sauna and plunge pool before my hot stone massage, looked really lovely. The massage itself was good but different to what I’m typically used to with hot stones, they were not used a lot for the actual massaging but thankfully the therapist had fabulous normal massage skills.

The treatment itself was lovely, Lin was excellent. I was confused by the use of the sauna/steam room before the treatment only. The lounge was peaceful and quiet but the upholstery needs cleaning/updating.

The facilities was good, but unfortunately some of the the facilities weren’t working. The steam rooms and saunas weren’t working, and the water in the plunge pool was not very warm. The lounge water fountain wasn’t working and only drinks were for purchase, had to ask for a drink of water. The facilities are what separates Hale from the rest of the spas around town so it needs to work.

My therapist was excellent with communicating what to expect with our appointment before we began. She had great knowledge about skincare and was able to provide me with an analysis of my skin during the facial portion of our appointment. Wonderfully relaxing time. Feels like time stands still. Ensure you leave enough time before to utilise the spa and sauna and after to enjoy the fire and a drink. Would love if the wait for appointment was not as long.

The facilities are great (although the saunas in the female area were broken), but the massage could be better.

Amazing facilities, the plunge pool, steam room and sauna is a great way to start your spa day. My massage and facial was perfectly relaxing. Change room, showers and relaxing lounge have everything you might need.

Great massage. May I recommend the installation of an inside handle on the steam room door and for staff to check if the steam room and sauna are still heating, especially when you only have 30 mins to enjoy facilities before a massage and it takes time for the rooms to adequately heat Up when they have turned themselves off. I had a Signature massage from Joslyn, it was WONDERFUL. Along with the sauna and plunge pool beforehand and a cup of tea in the lounge afterwards , it was just what I needed after a stressful week.

The staff are lovely and the facilities are beautiful. Highly recommend getting there 2+ hours early to use the steam room, sauna, ice shower and plunge pool as you can't use them after a treatment.

My experience at Hale was an absolute pleasure. I had the Sodashi Arabian Oud Renewal Therapy, as I thought it would be a great introduction to both face and body treatments at Hale. I found the whole experience incredibly relaxing and comforting; I felt very taken care of. It was also wonderful spending time in the heated pool and sauna before the appointment and then sitting by the fire afterward, so I would highly recommend giving yourself as much time at Hale. I was very fortunate to snag an appointment the day after I booked. I arrived early to use the plunge pool, steam bath and sauna prior to my treatment. I waited for my therapist in the common area and was created by the lovely Line, who’s bright smile and friendly nature put me straight at ease.

The spa attendant was lovely and professional, and we enjoyed our time at the spa. The only thing we didn’t particularly enjoy was the jet feature off button didn’t work in the plunge pool and it was really noisey. The timer did eventually make the jets stop but not for over 20 minutes. Also we would have appreciated access to drinking water. But over all a lovely spa, sauna and bath house experience.

I have had an amazing afternoon with my 3 ritual package. My therapist was amazing and I have it noted that I want her again when I can book this experience again. Wish there was more time before appointments to enjoy the spa/sauna or if we showered, to be able to use the sauna/spa afterwards for a while. Overall, I can’t rate highly enough.
