11/10 experience! This salon was clean and the staff was nice and efficient. I’ve been to many salons and this was the most thorough hair wash and scalp massage I’ve ever had. And Curly was just amazing! I had the best experience with him. He listened and took his time to get my cut as precise and perfect as possible. He also gave me styling tips and got my pin straight hair to look voluminous like I wanted. Glad I found my new go to spot, and for my cut to be under $100 with tip is unheard of in New York.

Sarah was lovely to work with! I got off on the wrong subway stop and she was so understanding when I called to say I would be late. She was friendly and knowledgeable when it came to advising me on hair color and haircut. And the results came out amazing! I would definitely go back to see her.

Everyone at this salon is a professional. Everything Curly Hair is their specialty. I'm so grateful for the expertise. Please try the salon you will not regret it. My scalp and hair are benefiting from the shampoo, the hair massage, the conditioner and let me not forget the hairdresser. I will not allow anyone else touch my hair except for Robert, who has the magic touch. He's very talented and highly experienced with curly hair. It was my first time at Hayato. Although it looked a bit dated, the service was exactly what I was looking for. Great shampoo experience and Mina my hairdresser was a super Japanese stylist. She listened to what you wanted and then offered her opinion. Highly recommend for a true New York Japanese hair salon. Thank you!

The Professionalism of Qiu, Debbie provided exceptional service that exceeded my expectations. I opted for the Milbon Japanese hair treatment, Hair Color, and weeks after keratin treatment, and I very happy with the results. Qiu’s expertise shone through as he expertly assessed my hair's needs recommended the best treatments for me. The Milbon treatment left my hair feeling incredibly soft and revitalized, while the Keratin treatment. I highly recommend!
