Caesar always gives me an excellent haircut, just walked into my apartment and a friend said "great haircut." Their salon is very pleasant, personal and has a great relaxed vibe. I always see other people looking great when they finish working on them as well.

I just got my 2nd haircut with Chi. My first one was last fall when I was working in NYC for a few months,. I loved the asymmetrical style she gave me so much that I returned this weekend though I'm only visiting the city for a few days. My salon in San Francisco just doesn't match up! Chi has an eye for what will look good, and makes it happen with such ease.

I had a fantastic styling done by Ali (truly incredible), but he made comments that my hair didn’t need to be straightened and tried to persuade me to go against what I consider, as an African American in a hair salon, to be a finished look following a blow out. Again, he did an absolutely beautiful job, but the repeat comments (both during this appointment and my last appointment with him) made me feel like I wasn’t a valued customer and felt like he did not want to do my hair. Still very happy and very grateful, but that didn’t feel great.

I had an amazing experience here! I am a guy with curly hair, between an 2 and 3A, so I’ve had A LOT of bad haircuts. This is the best cut I’ve had in YEARS! Even when I ask for a diva cut, stylists always give me a generic men’s cut when I go short, so I never do. NOT Sandra! Even though I went with a shorter length (and had worn a hat all day), she took her time to cut my curls individually and made sure they all came through. I almost always walk out of the salon disappointed and put off getting a trim for as long as possible but today I am already looking forward to seeing her again!

Robert was great. I took my daughter for her first curly hair cut and Robert was so good at teaching her how to care for her hair and had such good conversation with me. Great stylist, super knowledgeable and so heartfelt. Highly recommend the salon and Robert!

During my stay in New York, I decided to get my hair cut. Online, I found an independent hairdresser in Union Square. On the 12th floor of a historic building, I met Marianna and her assistant Annie in a small salon. The atmosphere was very pleasant, calm, with relaxing lounge music playing. Marianna was very focused and took great care and attention to detail with my haircut, which I love. Even after the first wash, my hair looks fantastic. (I never blow dry my hair). Thank you for this authentic New York experience.

Amazing. David is an excellent hairdresser, and his staff are lovely and really work as a team which meant my blonde balayage, cut and blow dry were done in record time. The result is so natural. I couldn't be happier and highly recommend this salon.

Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful experience. Eiji has been cutting my hair for 37 years —- I followed him to Toka salon and the combination of Eiji’s exquisite cuts and the magical calming vib of the Toka slim is Nirvana!!!

The Hair Genius never disappoints!!!! His unique approach to nourishing and styling your strands is truly amazing and one of a kind. My daughter says her hair has NEVER looked or felt better! She walked out of his salon glowing with confidence and looking absolutely stunning.

Giulia was wonderful! She took the time to really explain what she saw had been done to my hair by previous stylists, and the steps she was going to take to achieve the look I had actually been wanting. Honestamente yo fui a este salon porque conozco a mi Milady desde hace años y fue porque mi hermano me la recomendo porque ella era su peluquera y desde ahi ella es la ÚNICA persona que ha tocado mi cabello. Everyone was nice once I arrived at the salon. Making the reservation was the most frustrating part. I had to make several phone calls & texts.It like a clinic for hair. They couldn't give me the name of the stylist because they didn't know who would be available WHEN I was done with the Olaplex treatment (Groupon). My stylist wound up being Milk (yup). He was super nice, answered my questions and asked me what part of the pictures I liked. He explained why certain things wouldn't work. Milk was great. There is an extra charge for the length of your hair so make sure you find out how much.

Great salon! Friendly staff, very efficient and attentive. Mira did an awsome job coloring and blow drying my hair. will definitely be back!
