Manage client wallets
In this guide, you’ll learn how to view a client’s wallet, including their gift cards, upfront payments, and rewards.
How a client wallet works
The client's wallet is where their stored balance and payment details are kept. This includes gift card balances, upfront payments, stored cards, and rewards.
When you open a client’s profile, their wallet balance appears in the overview. From there, click the Wallet tab to view full details.
View a client's wallet
- Open a client's profile from your Client list.
- In the menu panel of the client view, click on Wallet to view the following:
- Available balance: The total amount the client has to spend, combining any claimed gift cards and upfront payments for future bookings.
- Gift card balance: How much the client has left to redeem from any active gift cards.
- Upfront payments: Any prepaid amounts tied to upcoming appointments, helping you track what’s already been paid.
- Saved card: Displays the client’s current stored payment, including the last four digits and expiry date.
- Rewards: A list of rewards the client currently has. Learn how rewards work.
Clients can store one active card at a time. If they add a new card, it will replace the previous one, keeping their payment method up to date.
FAQs
Clients can update their saved card details from their Fresha client account by heading to their Wallet and selecting Change current card under Cards. Any changes will be reflected automatically in their profile.
Currently, upfront payment settings need to be adjusted individually for each client through their profile. Upfront payment settings can also be managed on a service level.
