This was a really great experience! I want for lash tint, brow stain which was new to me, and bikini wax. She did a great job on my brows and explained the stain, and ensured we aligned on the colour. She made me super comfortable - the spa treatment room is very tidy and well-appointed. I’ve had bikini / Brazilian waxes done in Canada, Saudi Arabia and now here in Cairns and this was the most efficient and painless visit in nearly 25 years of them. I’m not sure what exactly the product was, but it went on smoothly without tugging and NOT burning hot, and was super effective. Recommend!!

I am visiting Cairns for 2 weeks and was a walk in client wanting my lashes filled as I didn’t get to have them done before leaving Brisbane. I was greeted by a lovely girl by the name of Michelle and made a booking to have my lashes done with her on the following day. I was very impressed with everything about this salon. I laid in the most beautiful treatment room on the most comfortable beauty bed whilst having my lashes done, and was EXTREMELY happy with how my lashes looked upon completion of my appointment. Thank you Michelle. I absolutely love them! You did a wonderful job 💝

Best hairdressers Clifton beach//Cairns ,experts in hair colour and . ammonia free hair colour..All the hairdressers take pride in their work and you leave feeling wonderful. Nothing is too much trouble they give good advice on cut and colour.Kaboo is as good as any top notch hairdresser in Sydney and Melbourne and even Germany . The team is led by ownerlMelindie. This is a really fantastic salon - relaxing, pampering, expert, friendly and kind. The best way I can describe it is ethical luxe. If you are, like me, new to town and are not sure where to go for that little treat or indulgence and want to be treated like a princess don’t look any further. Faux fur blankets, warm bed to hop into after the ‘nasty’ treatment for the remainder, delicious elixirs and dainty little edible treats presented in a glass cloche post-treatment were some of the highlights. Such a beautiful and relaxing experience! The best sensory indulgence, with the most peaceful sounds, shoulder heat rest, warm towels on the legs and the perfect pressured warm oiled leg and foot massage. To add to this ,my feet were brought back from a dry and dull state, with lots of care and attention and the perfect French tipped painting. Vanni is such a lovely human and a true perfectionist ! I highly recommend Avoca to everyone. I had a last minute brow appointment with Sarah - my first since returning to Cairns after moving 3 years ago. Very relaxing. Not like the usual “busy” salons I have experienced in the past in Cairns. I felt like I was treated with dignity & respect. Every ingredient was explained to me. Sally was very thoughtful, asked me what tea I would like to drink during the foot spa session, & engaged in providing quality time with my feet, toes and lower limb massage. I will be returning to Serene Retreat when I am in Cairns again next. Serene Retreat is now my new chosen place of serenity for receiving an ultimate pedicure and massage.

The ladies at the salon are very friendly and extremely competent. I live interstate, and always have my brows done at Avoca Smithfield when visiting Cairns.

I am new to Cairns and had a terrible first experience trying to find a new brow person but after seeing Jessie my faith has been restored in beauticians! She did a fantastic job and I will definitely be back!

Had never heard of sugaring before.. and by now I don’t think I’ll go back to waxing! I’m usually very sensitive skin and have lots of spots and pimples but come up after.. nothing like that after the sugar hair removal 👏🏼 Love it, soo smooth 👌🏼
