This was a really great experience! I want for lash tint, brow stain which was new to me, and bikini wax. She did a great job on my brows and explained the stain, and ensured we aligned on the colour. She made me super comfortable - the spa treatment room is very tidy and well-appointed. I’ve had bikini / Brazilian waxes done in Canada, Saudi Arabia and now here in Cairns and this was the most efficient and painless visit in nearly 25 years of them. I’m not sure what exactly the product was, but it went on smoothly without tugging and NOT burning hot, and was super effective. Recommend!!

I am visiting Cairns for 2 weeks and was a walk in client wanting my lashes filled as I didn’t get to have them done before leaving Brisbane. I was greeted by a lovely girl by the name of Michelle and made a booking to have my lashes done with her on the following day. I was very impressed with everything about this salon. I laid in the most beautiful treatment room on the most comfortable beauty bed whilst having my lashes done, and was EXTREMELY happy with how my lashes looked upon completion of my appointment. Thank you Michelle. I absolutely love them! You did a wonderful job 💝

Nothing is too much trouble they give good advice on cut and colour.Kaboo is as good as any top notch hairdresser in Sydney and Melbourne and even Germany . The team is led by ownerlMelindie. This is a really fantastic salon - relaxing, pampering, expert, friendly and kind. The best way I can describe it is ethical luxe. If you are, like me, new to town and are not sure where to go for that little treat or indulgence and want to be treated like a princess don’t look any further. Faux fur blankets, warm bed to hop into after the ‘nasty’ treatment for the remainder, delicious elixirs and dainty little edible treats presented in a glass cloche post-treatment were some of the highlights. Very relaxing. Not like the usual “busy” salons I have experienced in the past in Cairns. I felt like I was treated with dignity & respect. Every ingredient was explained to me. Sally was very thoughtful, asked me what tea I would like to drink during the foot spa session, & engaged in providing quality time with my feet, toes and lower limb massage. I will be returning to Serene Retreat when I am in Cairns again next. Serene Retreat is now my new chosen place of serenity for receiving an ultimate pedicure and massage.

I am absolutely thrilled to find DJ. After a botched haircut 2 weeks ago l got to the stage that l could not put up with my hair 1 more day. After reading 4 hours of reviews l crossed my fingers and decided to make an appointment with DJ at Suede. It was 1am in the morning when l went to make an appointment. I couldn't believe it when he had an appointment for 4pm that day. It was meant to be. DJ is certainly a professional and knows his stuff. I have now found my new hairdresser in Cairns. I would highly recommend DJ 👌

Absolutely loved my experience at Suede Hair in Cairns! I got a fresh cut and they did an amazing job refreshing my blonde hair after it had gone a little yellow from the sun & swimming during my holiday. The colour looks bright and healthy again. On top of that, I got to hold the most adorable, well-behaved dog while they cut my hair — honestly the best bonus ever 🐶💛 Everything was perfect from start to finish.
