I am visiting Cairns for 2 weeks and was a walk in client wanting my lashes filled as I didn’t get to have them done before leaving Brisbane. I was greeted by a lovely girl by the name of Michelle and made a booking to have my lashes done with her on the following day. I was very impressed with everything about this salon. I laid in the most beautiful treatment room on the most comfortable beauty bed whilst having my lashes done, and was EXTREMELY happy with how my lashes looked upon completion of my appointment. Thank you Michelle. I absolutely love them! You did a wonderful job 💝

This is a really fantastic salon - relaxing, pampering, expert, friendly and kind. The best way I can describe it is ethical luxe. If you are, like me, new to town and are not sure where to go for that little treat or indulgence and want to be treated like a princess don’t look any further. Faux fur blankets, warm bed to hop into after the ‘nasty’ treatment for the remainder, delicious elixirs and dainty little edible treats presented in a glass cloche post-treatment were some of the highlights. Such a beautiful and relaxing experience! The best sensory indulgence, with the most peaceful sounds, shoulder heat rest, warm towels on the legs and the perfect pressured warm oiled leg and foot massage. To add to this ,my feet were brought back from a dry and dull state, with lots of care and attention and the perfect French tipped painting. Vanni is such a lovely human and a true perfectionist ! Very relaxing. Not like the usual “busy” salons I have experienced in the past in Cairns. I felt like I was treated with dignity & respect. Every ingredient was explained to me. Sally was very thoughtful, asked me what tea I would like to drink during the foot spa session, & engaged in providing quality time with my feet, toes and lower limb massage. I will be returning to Serene Retreat when I am in Cairns again next. Serene Retreat is now my new chosen place of serenity for receiving an ultimate pedicure and massage.

The facial left my skin feeling refreshed and glowing, with noticeable softness and clarity. The waxing was quick, precise, and surprisingly comfortable—highly recommend for smooth results.
