What a treat it is to come get my haircut and spend time with the lovely ladies at Crissel New York! Crissel is not only a phenomenal hairdresser but also kind, thoughtful, and funny. I always have such a great time chatting with her and her awesome crew (namely Rosie and Susie). Crissel always makes me look and feel fabulous... and at a great price. Even after moving away from the neighborhood, I still maker the trek back because I know I can rely on Crissel to make me look my best (and give me a few good laughs). Highly recommend this wonderful salon!

It was my first visit and it was lovely. I love my hair, I love the staff, I love my stylist (Lauren), I love the way the products smell, I love the way everything looks inside, I love their organization and the way they handle business. If I wasn't moving next month, this would be my permanent salon, but unfortunately I'm leaving New York. :(

Best haircut I've ever had. Rosemarie has magic scissors. I don't usually leave a hair salon feeling confident. I have very thick, wavy/curly hair & there have been too many botched haircuts to count. It's not unusual for me to end up fixing my own hair at home. This time was different. Rosemarie instantly became my go-to girl.

Marq is the TRUTH!!! A master at his craft from cutting to styling and color omgosh he's THE BEST for me!!! The salon is very clean, atmosphere is a vibe good music and great people. All stylist are great at what they do. Book your appointment NOW you will not be disappointed.

I recently had my hair dyed by Aimee and the results were incredible. I had color in my hair that was from several months ago that I was no longer happy with. love it here (first time visiting) -- I will definitely keep coming back for trims/cuts/color. Literally the best silk press in my life lol. But seriously, big up my stylist, Liyah & the other assistants at the salon. The (bob) cut is perfection & I appreciate her taking the time to lightly cut layers so my hair looks good in a natural state too Just know they're cash only (but they have an ATM)

I have tried out a couple of salons/stylist during my natural hair journal and I always left feeling disappointed and needing to continue my search….search is over. I truly enjoyed my visit as a first time guest at H2. I was greeted as soon as I walked in, and was instructed to wash my hands and have my temperature. Shortly after, my stylist Lauren greeted me and offered to hang my coat. Through every step of the process - I received a haircut - Lauren was so kind, and handled me with such care. Upon completion, she recommended the next press visit, and the next cut visit appointments. I will be back!

Second time coming here, my hair stylist was Susie and she made me feel so at ease. I told her what I wanted and she didn't disappoint! I left feeling like a new person. Always a great experience at Crissel New York Hair Salon!! Great vibe, amazing service

It was my first time in this salon and I was quite nervous to get a haircut because of how long my hair was and to how short i wanted it. And especially since I have curly hair. I felt completely welcomed and was complimented left and right and I never felt happier in a gorgeous hair salon. I love my hair, I love my stylist. if I had to rate it from a scale of 1-10 it would be a 12/10! I will be coming back!

It was great. Crissel is in the process of restoring my hair from a haircut that i got from another hairdresser. Thank you Crissel. I can now look in the mirror and not be disgusted.

This review is looong overdue. I’ve been coming to this salon since 2021. I use to live 30 mins away from this place and even now as my commute is 1 hr 30 mins on the train - the experience here makes it worth it. I get my haircuts/blow out with Rosie. She’s awesome!! My mom occasionally gets her hair cut here also and each stylist has done a good job. I’d recommend this place to anyone.
