I went into my appointment feeling blah and was *feeling myself* by the time I left. I can’t give Harix enough praise! He is SO talented and I could not be happier with my cut and color. He is equal parts artist and stylist, which is especially crucial when it comes to curly hair. He also has a wonderful vibe and I immediately felt at ease. This is by far the best hair service I’ve ever received. Harix is truly a curly hair expert and I’m so grateful to have found him! Roots Radicals is also a lovely salon. Everyone there was kind, professional, and knowledgeable. I recommend it to everyone!

I had the most incredible experience at Pressed Studio! First visit and I will now be a regular client. I had a photoshoot in Brooklyn for my website and CeCe did an amazing job styling my hair. I received so many compliments! My fabulous hair looked just as amazing the next day. THRILLED with the results. Also, Cece was friendly and really listened to what I wanted - then delivered! I have lost count how many years I’ve been going to Marianna but it’s at least five in her new studio so maybe 7??? Every time she knows exactly what to do for blonde~ especially because sometimes I just walk in and I’m like “do your thing” and it turns out great. She’s funny, explains hair process well, easy to talk to and if there’s a few people in the salon at once, everyone talks to each other, so I feel like I’ve definitely met some awesome peeps over the years. For someone who used to go back to Connecticut every time to get her hair done, so glad to have found her!!!

i love this salon. i felt welcomed and taken care of from the moment i walked in. all of the stylists were so friendly. my shampoo was the gentlest head massage. liyah was amazing and talked me through the whole process letting me know exactly what she was doing and why. she also gave me great advice on what i could do to my hair at home to get the results im seeking with hair health, length, and thickness. the results were beyond my expectations. i havent been to a salon in years bc of ptsd with getting butchered haircuts and blow outs but h2 has restored my faith. i will definitely be back!

Gina was so amazing! My hair was dead and flat when I came in. She listened to what I wanted out of the haircut and recommended some solutions and did such an amazing job. I can’t recommend her and this salon enough after encountering so many bad salons in Brooklyn. So happy to have FINALLY found a salon I plan on coming back to for future haircuts.

Harix is incredible knowledgeable of curly hair and also understands the importance of his clients having a practical routine they can do at home. Stylist was very knowledgeable and kind. I would definitely be returning. The salon space was welcoming and clean. I booked a wash and style and absolutely loved the way my hair turned out. Also, the parking isn’t too bad just come maybe 15 minutes early.

11/10 experience! This salon was clean and the staff was nice and efficient. I’ve been to many salons and this was the most thorough hair wash and scalp massage I’ve ever had. And Curly was just amazing! I had the best experience with him. He listened and took his time to get my cut as precise and perfect as possible. He also gave me styling tips and got my pin straight hair to look voluminous like I wanted. Glad I found my new go to spot, and for my cut to be under $100 with tip is unheard of in New York.

Lovely salon. Calm atmosphere. Most importantly I get a great haircut and perfect highlights.

Overall experience was a 10/10!! I got my boho braids done by Denise and I’ve never been happier with how my hair looks. Everyone was friendly and welcoming, the salon is well maintained and comfortable, and the stylists are patient and supportive. I am overly satisfied with my visit here and I am definitely going to be a regular. If you need your hair done, this is the place to be!!!

After following Eti on Instagram for more than a year, I knew she was the one I wanted to do my hair. I researched for months, but kept coming back to her work, and finally booked my session for a cut and full-balayage. My appointment was incredibly fast and efficient, considering how thick and long my hair is. Her salon is small and welcoming - not overwhelming at all.She expertly cut my hair, listened to every request I had on my color and length, and corrected a very outgrown color job from a year prior. We drove in from Connecticut because my 16-year-old daughter didn't want anyone but Marianna touching her hair. Her hair looks great, and no hair place is as fun as Marianna's salon. Marianna is bright, funny and builds meaningful relationships with her clients, and not just their hair.
