I had the most incredible experience at Pressed Studio! First visit and I will now be a regular client. I had a photoshoot in Brooklyn for my website and CeCe did an amazing job styling my hair. I received so many compliments! My fabulous hair looked just as amazing the next day. THRILLED with the results. Also, Cece was friendly and really listened to what I wanted - then delivered! So happy to have found this wonderful salon!

As you walk in the door of Sew Brooklyn you are in for a treat! Well, at least thats what it was like for me. I had read the reviews and did my research for top Hair Salons for black hair in Brooklyn. It was all positive feedback for Sew Brooklyn. Today I am adding mine! This Hair salon is the best by far! Loved the cleanliness, the ornate and luxurious, setting; even my black and white poco-dot apron! I am a regular! From this moment on. Oh, yes, loved my hair! Shampoo, Conditioner, a Rinse to cover my gray, a short, slick, Bob Cut all for a reasonable price! Treat yourselves ladies!

London is knowledgeable, she’s professional, and a very talented stylist. Every time I sit in her chair she teaches me more about my hair type and what products/ techniques will work best for me while maintaining my install. She was previously at a different salon, and I’ve followed her here to her new location. I will go wherever she goes! Thank you London for always being reliable, doing ann exceptional job, and for consistently being an absolute joy.

Love this beauty salon, the girls are all amazing at what they do! Customer service is always on top! Alla has amazing, magic hands that always manage to bring my hair back from the dead! She is the only hair stylist in Brooklyn I trust with my hair! I am always able to have a very relaxing time after a stressful, long work day in the atmosphere of these wonderful ladies! My first time visiting the H2 Salon Brooklyn and I had a wonderful experience, everyone was friendly and professional. My stylist JahLena was patient, empathetic, knowledgeable and super sweet. I didn’t feel rushed or judged and she took her time to learn about my hair journey and experiences. I was worried we would have to do a big chop but we were able to do a cute bob cut to allow my hair to grow healthier and fuller. Thank you so much JahLena and H2 Salon. Gina was so amazing! My hair was dead and flat when I came in. She listened to what I wanted out of the haircut and recommended some solutions and did such an amazing job. I can’t recommend her and this salon enough after encountering so many bad salons in Brooklyn. So happy to have FINALLY found a salon I plan on coming back to for future haircuts.

I love pressed studios!!! CeeCee is a doll. The only stylist I’ve been to who’s been very professional and punctual. She’s never been late and she always finished me and my daughters hair early. Mahmut at MK Hair Salon highly enough! After visiting multiple hairstylists who just couldn’t quite achieve what my fiancé was looking for, finally found this salon—and wow, what a difference! Mahmut absolutely nailed the look, delivering exactly what my fiancé had envisioned. The attention to detail, the technique, and the overall quality of work were simply outstanding. The highlighter extensions were blended so seamlessly and the final result was nothing short of stunning. This was, without a doubt, one of the best hair experiences we’ve had. Highly recommend!

My 10 year old daughter with curly hair saw Mino today for a hair cut. She loves the cut and looks incredible. He was gentle and patient with her and we definitely plan on continuing to see him in the future. Maria gave me a curly cut which I absolutely love. After a bad experience at another salon, this is exactly what I needed. Maria listens to you and takes her time to deliver the look you want while offering her expertise and great style. Punctual, Knowledgeable and Skillful, Sew Brooklyn is a paragon of upscale, black owned salon service. The location gives very upscale urban, yet intimate boutique vibes. Prices are clear and visible before booking and there is no bait and switch. I came in requesting several different treatments for my hair. My stylists’ first priority was the health of my hair and not the profit they’d make from my requests. They recommended the steam and protein treatment for my hair (natural 4C) in addition the the silk press is initially requested. My style has left me feeling put together and lovely.

This was my first time getting my hair cut at R Hair Studio, and I had a great experience! The salon was quiet and peaceful and didn't reek of too much hair spray like some salons do, Rene was kind and professional, giving me advice to cut/style my hair type without pressuring me or trying to up-sell me. Plus the price was very reasonable. I'll definitely be returning back: best experience in a salon I've had in years! :)
