This place is now my go-to hair salon after moving to NYC! I discovered them through TikTok and I always get my hair cut by Masumi :) She has never given me a bad haircut - I always come out of the salon looking like a million bucks!! Thank you Assort ❤️

Sarah was lovely to work with! I got off on the wrong subway stop and she was so understanding when I called to say I would be late. She was friendly and knowledgeable when it came to advising me on hair color and haircut. And the results came out amazing! I would definitely go back to see her.

Sarah is an amazing hair stylist. She was super accommodating given that I suffer from Chronic pain. She colored and cut and blew out my hair all while I spasmed fidgeted and had to take lots of breaks. She was very empathetic and sympathetic and I really do appreciate that. Now the appointment did run a little longer then expected, but it was worth it. Thank you thank you thank you!🤗

As always, Ashiya delivers and then some. I treated almost adult child to a vivid color and cut. Ashiya found the perfect blue and created an amazing cut that works for both wet and dry styling.

Ruben is the man! I hadn’t gotten a haircut in over two years, so I was a little nervous about making a big change. He took the time to look through my reference photos, asked the right questions, and made sure he understood exactly what I was going for. He absolutely nailed it. He’s great with curly textured hair and beards, and you can tell he really pays attention to the details. I walked out feeling fresh, confident, and honestly better than I expected. Tamia is a true professional. She was on time and very thorough. As a first time curly cut client, she asked me to tell her about my hair and listened to my hair concerns, goals and complaints. She acted on the information I provided and by her assessments. She chose products and haircut accordingly. As a result I am happy with my cut and the services provided. Gaby gave me a great wash and was very sweet and accommodating. Great place. Easy access to MTA. I am looking forward to my next trim. Very happy indeed .

so goood!!! it was my first time at a hair salon in nyc since im from nj. my stylist was andy, and he did such an amazing job! he kept checking if i was okay with the cuts which i appreciated a lot. for this appointment, i asked for a cut, long layers, + face framing pieces. i also loved the lady who washed my hair. def coming back again, 10/10 experience!!

After too many mediocre curly cuts, I finally decided to splurge and saw Laiz. She is everything people say -- knowledgeable, patient, and talented. I showed her the same pictures of my old haircut that I've shown to at least 3 other stylists; she is the first to be able to match it, and recognized the technique right away. She gave me a wonderful haircut, and plenty of excellent advice on scalp health and styling. I highly recommend her. Note that I am biracial and have 3B/3C hair.

Niya did an amazing job on both my hair and my sister’s! She fixed a haircut I gave myself and added so much volume and life back to my hair. My sister has very long hair, and Niya took her time, handled it with care, and gave her exactly the style she wanted after other salons couldn’t. She really listens and pays attention to the details. We’ll definitely be back!

Iryna does the best color and cut in the city! She is able to blend in highlights in a way that allows it to grow out more naturally. The salon is new and comfortable and always have a great experience and leave happy with my hair!

Love my hair! Especially the color. Maybe I could have asked for layers to be more seen. Janet is great. I maybe felt a little less welcomed by others and could have been asked if I wanted to be posted but overall was okay with it. All the best!
