11/10 experience! This salon was clean and the staff was nice and efficient. I’ve been to many salons and this was the most thorough hair wash and scalp massage I’ve ever had. And Curly was just amazing! I had the best experience with him. He listened and took his time to get my cut as precise and perfect as possible. He also gave me styling tips and got my pin straight hair to look voluminous like I wanted. Glad I found my new go to spot, and for my cut to be under $100 with tip is unheard of in New York.

Sarah was lovely to work with! I got off on the wrong subway stop and she was so understanding when I called to say I would be late. She was friendly and knowledgeable when it came to advising me on hair color and haircut. And the results came out amazing! I would definitely go back to see her.

Everyone at this salon is a professional. Everything Curly Hair is their specialty. I'm so grateful for the expertise. Please try the salon you will not regret it. My scalp and hair are benefiting from the shampoo, the hair massage, the conditioner and let me not forget the hairdresser. I will not allow anyone else touch my hair except for Robert, who has the magic touch. He's very talented and highly experienced with curly hair. I'm sure the other hair professionals are talented but Robert is my choice and I'm sticking with him. I've receive so many compliments for months after my haircut

Hands down the best hair appointment I've ever had. I've colored my hair for years (like crazy bright colors), so I've been in many salon chairs. But Firuza was by far the best colorist/haircut I've had. David helped pick the perfect mix of colors, and Firuza did the most beautifully blended balyage and a seamlessly layered haircut. Walked out feeling absolutely incredible. Thank you so much to the team at Balayage Me, will definitely be returning!

It was awesome. Curly, the director of stylist has been cutting my hair for many years. Pay attention to details, never felt rushed. Also had my hair colored (Jessica), always a wonderful job. The hair washing was so clean and the water pressure was perfect. Best of all, it is so well priced especially for the service and skill they offer. Overall a 5/5.

Giuseppe was absolutely magic! I came in asking for highlights and a haircut he way my hair started as a bit yellow and completely fixed it. Not only was the color amazing but he made my flat hair have so much body and movement. I can’t thank Giuseppe and the team here enough!!!

It was my first time at Hayato. Although it looked a bit dated, the service was exactly what I was looking for. Great shampoo experience and Mina my hairdresser was a super Japanese stylist. She listened to what you wanted and then offered her opinion. Highly recommend for a true New York Japanese hair salon. Thank you!

This place was AMAZING! So clean, felt very luxurious but was not crazy expensive, and was such a nice environment. Gigi listed to exactly what I wanted and went above and beyond to make the experience great. She fixed issues from previous salons and I can truly say it was the best haircut and color I’ve ever had! So excited to come back!
