I had the most amazing experience with Candyce at Jamal Amal Hair Salon! In which from the moment I walked in, she made me feel so welcomed and at ease. She truly understands hair and took the time to listen to what I wanted, offering expert advice along the way. The end result was beyond my expectations. In all honesty my hair has never looked or felt better! Whiles on the other hand her attention to detail, skill, and warm coupled with her personality made the entire appointment such a joy. I can’t wait to book with her again!

This is probably one of the best salons out there. It’s a hidden gem I discovered. Micheal is great stylist and barber. He is friendly, takes his time and gives advice. I highly recommend Poiz Beauty Salon.

Here’s a refined version of your review: As soon as the elevator doors open onto the sixth floor, TOKA Salon feels like a breath of fresh air. The staff is not only professional but also incredibly warm and welcoming, instantly putting you at ease. I often find myself wishing I’d arrived early enough to enjoy their beautiful balcony—an oasis on warmer days. I absolutely loved my experience today! It was my first time getting a brow lamination, and Katie did an incredible job—she’s truly skilled at what she does. I left the salon feeling so happy with the results! This should be every woman’s go-to salon for brows and lashes! (I’ll definitely be trying the eyelash extensions next time!) Genuinely the best haircut I’ve gotten in NYC. I’ve gone to quite a few different salons dedicated to curly hair, including traveling all the way to Jersey to get a proper cut. And in all instances I’ve left underwhelmed, with a cut that was not what I had asked for. This experience was the exact opposite! She took the time to take into account the different curl patterns I have, my daily styling routine, what I wanted and what was achievable. I left the appointment looking and feeling amazing! For anyone out there with 3c hair who has struggled to find a proper cut, definitely visit Chi!

I visited a laser hair removal studio for the first time, and I’m beyond impressed! I found them on Instagram after a recommendation and contacted the owner. The communication was smooth, and I received a link to an app to fill out forms, pay the deposit, and get all the necessary info before my visit. The location was easy to find, the salon was clean, warm, and welcoming, and the staff were polite and professional. The specialist was highly skilled, and the service exceeded my expectations. I recently visited Jamal Amal Salon to get my hair braided, and I had such a great experience! The staff was incredibly friendly, helpful and polite, making me feel welcomed from the moment I walked in. They took their time to ensure my hair was styled perfectly, and the attention to detail was amazing.The atmosphere was warm and inviting, which made the entire process so relaxing. Every time I come to BEAUTY WORLD it’s such an experience great, great, great service Lydia is so warm and friendly. Feels like I’ve known her for years and I would recommend this salon to everybody Go and enjoy the experience

The Hydrofacial was amazing. Nino did an amazing facial! When I left the treatment room my skin was glowing. Event the next day I could tell my fine lines were diminished and skin looked and felt firmer. I will be going back to Beauty in Corporate! Such a great facial !!!

I cannot recommend Self Salon enough! Bianca took the time to listen to the change I wanted in my hair but also guided me through the services that I needed to get me to my dream hair!! I had balayage with some low lights to break up the previous grown out balayage whilst also offering a low maintenance color. The salon itself has the most beautiful lighting and all of the stylist were beyond lovely! I’d highly recommend to anyone in the area 💇🏼‍♀️ 10/10 experience!

Fabio is, quite simply, a hairstyle artist. I moved away from the area and was gone for five years. When I moved back, I returned to Fabio's Hair and Color Studio! He remembered me, and it felt like a homecoming. Fabio gives you his full attention and is an expert in all he does. He even started his own hair product line and they smell amazing! The staff is very welcoming and friendly, too, and the salon is bright and beautifully decorated. Very glad to be back! :)

If I didn’t love Kenjiro and Myriam and Grace and the rest of the staff at Toka Salon, I wouldn’t visit for hair cuts, Japanese hair straightening and hair color on a very regular basis for 25 plus years. Extraordinary service, beautiful dry cuts that take an hour and a half because almost each strand is cut separately and Japanese straightening done by total professionals with years of experience. I opted for the Milbon Japanese hair treatment, Hair Color, and weeks after keratin treatment, and I very happy with the results. Qiu’s expertise shone through as he expertly assessed my hair's needs recommended the best treatments for me.
