Create your online profile
In this guide you’ll learn how to launch your business on our marketplace and start accepting online bookings by creating and publishing your online profile.
Enable online bookings
Set up and publish your online profile to make your business bookable through the Fresha marketplace.
- From the main menu on the left of your screen, go to Online booking.
- Click on the Start now button to begin setting up your Marketplace profile.
- In the top right corner, click on the Continue button to proceed to the next step.
- On the next page, add your venue essentials, such as your business display name, phone number and email, so clients can easily contact you. Once you've entered the details, click on the Continue button to proceed to the next step.
- From the next page, set your location address and adjust the map pin to accurately reflect your business location. Then click on the Continue button to proceed to the next step.
- Add an optional Getting there note with instructions for clients to follow. For example, “The access code to parking is 1234”.
- On the next page, set your business opening hours by selecting times from the dropdown menu and click on the Continue button to proceed to the next step. These hours will appear on your public profile but won’t impact your team’s scheduled shifts.
- Review the photography guidelines and select the Continue button to upload your venue images.
- From the uploading page, click on the Choose a file button to upload images of your location. Drag and drop each image to change the order of how they are displayed on your profile. You can add and replace any images at any time. Once you have uploaded a minimum of three venue images, click on the Continue button to proceed to the next step.
- Select all applicable Amenities, Highlights, or Values that represent your business, then click Continue to move to the next step. These will be featured on your profile for clients to see.
- On the next page, add a business description that highlights what your venue offers and what makes it unique, refer to our writing standards for creating a strong business description. Then, click on the Continue button to proceed to the next step. You can also click on the Enhance button to generate an AI-powered version based on your existing details.
- Next, review how Fresha marketplace fees work by reading the terms and watching the short video, then tick the checkbox to confirm before clicking Continue to move to the final step.
- To enable online bookings, add your payment method and billing details.
- Once verified, click on the Enable button to publish your Marketplace profile and become discoverable online through Fresha.
Once your online profile is live, your business can start accepting online bookings.
Once you're live on the marketplace
As soon as your online profile has been created and listed on the marketplace, we recommend the following steps to maximize your success:
- Ensure that your client list has been imported to prevent any unnecessary Marketplace new client fees.
- Create a Blast campaign to let your clients know they can now book with you online.
- Set up Facebook and Instagram bookings to capture appointments through social media.
- Add a book button to your website for direct scheduling.
- Enable Google Reserve to boost your visibility across Google search and Maps.

Yes, you can edit or unlist your profile anytime by clicking Options and selecting Unlist profile.
Yes, you can save your progress at any time during your marketplace profile setup by selecting Save and exit.
Online booking is available on all Fresha plans, including both the Independent and Team plans. You can accept unlimited online bookings regardless of which plan you're on through:
Keep in mind, there will be a one-time fee if a brand-new client discovers your business on the Fresha Marketplace and completes a booking. The Marketplace New Client Fee only applies to first-time bookings and is not charged again for returning clients.
