Profile review process
When you publish your profile, we’ll review your images to ensure they meet our standards. We'll also make any necessary adjustments to help your venue reach the millions of Fresha users who book every day.
Best practices for photos
Create a gallery that captures your business's personality with these tips:
- Use the right formats:
Upload images in JPEG or PNG format. - Optimize resolution:
The minimum resolution is 2800 x 1050 pixels with a file size between 1MB and 4.5MB. Note that lower resolutions will appear blurry on larger screens. - Go landscape:
Photos in landscape format display best online. If using your phone, take photos in landscape mode.
Tips for great photos
- Upload at least three images:
Show off your venue from different angles. This helps avoid image distortion when resized and makes your profile more dynamic. You can add up to 10 images per location. - Lead with your best shot:
Choose a welcoming main image. This is what clients will see first, and it becomes the icon in search previews and booking carts. So make sure the main elements are centered. - Keep it clear and bright:
Use well-lit, clutter-free images to make your space look inviting and clean. Natural daylight works best. - Show a variety:
Include a range of shots of your interior. Including a photo of your entrance and signage helps clients find you easily. - Highlight unique features:
Showcase what makes your business special, like massage rooms, vintage barber chairs, or any standout amenities.
Common mistakes to avoid
To get your profile approved, steer clear of:
- Stock photos:
Even if purchased legally, stock images aren't allowed. They don’t accurately represent your business. - Branded photos:
Avoid images with logos, social handles, or text. These can become distorted when resized. If you want to include a logo, make it the second of three images, so it appears neatly in the top-right corner of your venue page.
