As a first time client, I was thoroughly impressed with the service which I received at The Spa Lounge. Due to a scheduling mix-up, the salon actually was not opened today (Whit Monday) despite my making an appointment approximately two weeks ago. My first interaction with Niki was over the phone this morning, when she not only apologized for the error, but actually gave up her morning to meet me at the salon. The care, professionalism and attention to detail exhibited during the appointment was unmatched. This was easily the best Brazilian wax I've ever had! I will definitely be back.

Lovely owner. Great service. I am a tourist over from the UK so was nervous about getting a wax from someone other than my regular one. I walked to the salon from Carlisle Bay but recommend getting a bus or taxi if you don’t like walking. Owner sent directions before apt with detailed instructions. Got a very warm welcome and she even cut my partners hair whilst he waited and put on paw patrol for my daughter. Wax was the exact same as back home. They listened to what my normal service was like and replicated it.

It was first time doing a wax, while the initial feeling was a shock, Kesha made sure I was comfortable and allowed me a couple minutes to breathe. Overall the experience was new and I was in good hands, definitely continue waxing in the future .

It was my first time getting a wax done and I didn't know what to expect. I just knew it would hurt. Shamika talked with me through the entire experience and explained things as she went along. I felt very comfortable and Shamika made me feel as though we knew each other. The pain was not as bad as I was expecting and I would recommend any first timer to give Shamika's services a try. I got the detox steam and the sugar wax. This was my first time getting the sugar wax done and my pain tolerance is very low and we all know how painful it can be, but she was so patience and understanding with me, she made sure I was comfortable and tried to make it as less painful as possible. Ps that steam does got me wet asf got my bf in bare trouble loool See you the next 4 wks 🥰

She said ‘trust me’… and now my armpits have never been smoother. Honestly, she deserves a medal 🏅 for putting up with my drama during the wax. Thank you for being patient and handling me with care.

Always have a great experience @waxology.bds. Usually get the basic hair removal service, however, this time I added a vajacial to the package and it was spectacular. Very relaxing and had the kitty extra smooth.

Had a great experience at the spa with Ashley. I booked a mud wrap, massage, and Bro-Zillian. The ambience of the spa is just what you would hope for if your goal is to relax and recoup. The treatments left my skin feeling so soft and the wax was relatively pain free. Go with the hard wax, I say. Ashley is very skillful and I would certainly recommend her.

This was my very first wax and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. She is so kind, patient and knowledgeable. She really took the time to make me feel comfortable, explained everything and made the process way easier and fun. I am so glad I found her and will definitely be coming back. Highly recommend!
