As a first time client, I was thoroughly impressed with the service which I received at The Spa Lounge. Due to a scheduling mix-up, the salon actually was not opened today (Whit Monday) despite my making an appointment approximately two weeks ago. My first interaction with Niki was over the phone this morning, when she not only apologized for the error, but actually gave up her morning to meet me at the salon. The care, professionalism and attention to detail exhibited during the appointment was unmatched. This was easily the best Brazilian wax I've ever had! I will definitely be back.

Lovely owner. Great service. I am a tourist over from the UK so was nervous about getting a wax from someone other than my regular one. I walked to the salon from Carlisle Bay but recommend getting a bus or taxi if you don’t like walking. Owner sent directions before apt with detailed instructions. Got a very warm welcome and she even cut my partners hair whilst he waited and put on paw patrol for my daughter. Wax was the exact same as back home. They listened to what my normal service was like and replicated it.

It was first time doing a wax, while the initial feeling was a shock, Kesha made sure I was comfortable and allowed me a couple minutes to breathe. Overall the experience was new and I was in good hands, definitely continue waxing in the future .

It was my first time getting a wax done and I didn't know what to expect. I just knew it would hurt. Shamika talked with me through the entire experience and explained things as she went along. Carianne worked out some major knots and I have range of motion in my arm restored. She is so professional. She talked me through the process and explained what I could do to prevent further damage. As for the eyebrows… I told her the eyebrows were “eyebrowing.” 😂 but seriously, the arch was arching. It’s always a 5 star experience with her, but 6 now cause there’s ac.

Where to start??? I haven’t been well for the past couple weeks so I was only exfoliating once a week or when I felt like it. Moving on, my appointment was today and I had some ingrowns as expected and a couple black heads due to my inconsistency. nonetheless, my wax went smoothly and I loved the new wax we used today! I hardly felt a thing. If you didn’t take anything from this…just know that exfoliating and moisturizing is extremely important in your waxing journey.

Natasha started my service on time, was pleasant, the spa was clean and well put together and most of all my manicure and wax were well done. Will definitely visit again.

This was my first time getting a wax and I must say the bar was set high. From the hospitality, the professionalism and the simple calming and inviting feeling of the surroundings. I was very impressed with the overall experience.
