Understand merchant payments in your account
In this guide, you’ll learn how merchant payments appear in your wallet, and how to track performance in reports.
Track merchant performance in reports
You can track your merchants’ performance using Fresha’s built-in sales and payment reports. Each report includes a Merchant filter that lets you view results for specific merchants and compare their performance across your workspace.
The following reports include merchant data:
- Sales summary: View total sales by merchant using the Merchant filter.
- Sales log detail: Filter by merchant to view detailed transactions. A Merchant column shows who each sale is assigned to.
- Payments transactions: Track all payment activity linked to individual merchants.
- Payments summary: Review total payouts and payment breakdowns for each merchant.
These reports give you full visibility of how your merchants are performing, helping you manage payouts, monitor earnings, and keep records accurate across your workspace.
How merchant payments appear in your wallet
When a sale is checked out, the payment is first received into your location’s wallet. From there, Fresha automatically transfers the relevant amount to the merchant’s wallet linked to the sale.
If any payment processing fees were deducted as part of the merchant’s agreement, those fees are automatically refunded to your wallet directly from the merchant’s wallet.
