Antonella rescued my hair from a previous cut elsewhere, and gave me the results I'd always hoped for. She explained everything really clearly and simply, and demonstrated everything for me. Brow wax, sculpt, tint. I have been to many brow technicians in Cairns. This is the first to take the time to properly discuss what I’m looking for, talk about and design the shaping, work out the best colouring and tone of the tint for me with my input, check in with and show me what she’s doing throughout the tinting and making adjustments where asked. She takes her time and makes the experience so pleasant. Affordable, high quality, and a true service. This is THE brow service in Cairns.

This was a really great experience! I want for lash tint, brow stain which was new to me, and bikini wax. She did a great job on my brows and explained the stain, and ensured we aligned on the colour. She made me super comfortable - the spa treatment room is very tidy and well-appointed. I’ve had bikini / Brazilian waxes done in Canada, Saudi Arabia and now here in Cairns and this was the most efficient and painless visit in nearly 25 years of them. I’m not sure what exactly the product was, but it went on smoothly without tugging and NOT burning hot, and was super effective. Recommend!!

Merrilyn is the best hair dresser in Cairns. I have been going to Merrilyn since before 2015. Occasionally I branched out to try other hairdressers yet none can compare. The cuts I have had (short hair) always keeping growing into a suitable style until a return is necessary. Marilyn is definitely a professional which shows in all aspects of her business. Merrilyn salon is of an excellent standard. It is a very relaxed atmosphere with lots of laughing. A joy to visit. The costs for services are very reasonable and affordable.

Absolutely loved my experience at Suede Hair in Cairns! I got a fresh cut and they did an amazing job refreshing my blonde hair after it had gone a little yellow from the sun & swimming during my holiday. The colour looks bright and healthy again. On top of that, I got to hold the most adorable, well-behaved dog while they cut my hair — honestly the best bonus ever 🐶💛 Everything was perfect from start to finish. Friendly, professional, and relaxing. Highly recommend!

The ladies at the salon are very friendly and extremely competent. I live interstate, and always have my brows done at Avoca Smithfield when visiting Cairns.

I am absolutely thrilled to find DJ. After a botched haircut 2 weeks ago l got to the stage that l could not put up with my hair 1 more day. After reading 4 hours of reviews l crossed my fingers and decided to make an appointment with DJ at Suede. It was 1am in the morning when l went to make an appointment. I couldn't believe it when he had an appointment for 4pm that day. It was meant to be. DJ is certainly a professional and knows his stuff. I have now found my new hairdresser in Cairns. I would highly recommend DJ 👌
