I was very nervous and had waited a long time to take the leap to semi permanent make up. Kamila was reassuring and explained everything thoroughly. She took time in my initial consultation to explain about the process and we looked at colours and when my appointment for my brows arrived I felt completely safe in her chair and actually can’t believe I waited so long to do this! I am thrilled with the results (and the extra time I will have every morning now I don’t have to draw on my eyebrows!) I would highly recommend Kamila.

Molly Rae did my makeup for a wedding and absolutely nailed it! I gave her full creative control, and she chose the perfect glam look to match my outfit. First visit to Molly Rae’s for the Million Dollar facial and I loved it. The salon itself is beautiful, very fresh and clean looking whilst also being very welcoming with a nice atmosphere when you walk in. The facial itself felt like the perfect balance of a gentle relaxing facial whilst also a more effective one that had elements to really address your skin issues. Molly herself is wonderful and I couldn’t have wanted a nicer experience for a facial. My skin was glowing when I came out and now, the next day, it feels great allowing my makeup to go on much better too. Definitely 5/5 🌟

I am totally blown away by the exceptional service I received from Kamila for my treatment of power brows. Right from my patch test to treatment day. I was made to feel welcome in this clean calm and relaxing atmosphere. She talked me right through the treatment process, from what she was doing to mapping my brows out and colour. She made sure I was happy by constantly showing me the shape, before she proceeded. Right to the end she took time to talk me through the after care and what to expect until my top up appointment in a few weeks.

I booked a 45 minute Swedish massage with Amy, and I requested firm pressure. This massage was better than the usual sports massages I get. I will be certain to book in here again during my next visit to York.

A very friendly masseur who took care and patience to deliver an excellent massage. Would definitely recommend this if you find yourself staying at the Delta hotel in York

I love visiting select. The staff are chilled and friendly. They don't mind who you go with for treatments as long as you're relaxed. They're highly trained & knowledgeable and happy to chat or be quiet if I'm zoned out. The facials and hot oil massages are gorgeous, but don't plan anything afterwards because you'll be so relaxed! They're brow experts. It's not easy finding people you trust who are consistently good. For electrolysis, they're the best in York, I tried 3 other places before finding Joanne. The location is easy to find and has free parking.

Gemma was brilliant. Very professional and made me feel very comfortable. My facial was fabulous and she checked with me to make sure the pressure was OK when doing the massage. A great experience. Thanks Gemma x
