I was lucky enough to have the spa extreme ritual day, this was the best massage and facial I have ever had. The young lady who have me this experience was fantastic. The pool, and other amenities were great, the salt room especially. My Spar package also included a light lunch which I had a beautiful Yorkshire ham salad, and would highly recommend. You can even stay in your bathrobe to go and have lunch in the conservatory. I will definitely be returning.

We booked last minute for a couples deep tissue massage at our accommodation, for our mini-moon. Ruth was extremely accommodating and fitted us in. The massage was amazing, very relaxing and exactly what we needed. We would highly recommend!!

fabulous experience and so quiet even though the venue is situated in the middle of York you wouldnt know it. Luke is brilliant as is Emily and i would highly recommend them both. Always feel so relaxed after a massage at Massage 22

My visits here are always a massive highlight for me. Lisa, Stacey and Alix were so welcoming. Always friendly and caring and creates such a relaxing environment. There is nowhere else in York like it! Alix took such time and care doing my nails and the art I had found. Fantastic job and love my nails. Emily is incredible! I have suffered chronic back pain for years, and have had many, many massages but Emily was game changing. For the first time in a long time, I am pain free and honestly feel inches taller. I live 45 minutes away and had my massage as part of a weekend away, but I am already planning a return trip. Holly was fantastic. She carried the massage out to suit me as I have recently had stomach surgery and a a bump in the car. A bespoke massage that really did the trick. Been in pain for weeks and weeks.. left in no pain. Holly listens and knows exactly what she is doing. Going to make it a regular thing. Wouldn’t go anywhere else. This is one of my favourite places to go in York to relax and unwind. Lovely place in fantastic grounds and very attentive staff. Highly recommended.

I had a back neck and shoulder massage with Emily. After explaining my neck issue she focused the massage on my area of concern and wow! what a difference! I have had many massages and I can say with confidence this was one of the best, just wish I had booked a longer one.
