I was lucky enough to have the spa extreme ritual day, this was the best massage and facial I have ever had. The young lady who have me this experience was fantastic. The pool, and other amenities were great, the salt room especially. My Spar package also included a light lunch which I had a beautiful Yorkshire ham salad, and would highly recommend. You can even stay in your bathrobe to go and have lunch in the conservatory. I will definitely be returning.

Lovely new little venue at monks cross and Neola worked absolute magic, really enjoyed the facial and scalp/neck massage. I felt so looked after and relaxed ☺️

Having a combination of a head, body and face massage with Irina was just the most ideal reset and like no massage I’ve had before. I felt both energised and relaxed, and like time had stood still! Irina is so knowledgeable about the styles she uses and I felt safe, nourished and entirely at ease. I had a lovely massage thank you. It would have been nice if the cd player didn’t stop and start all the time. Also the aromatherapy aspect was not really evident in the massage oil. It seemed like plain carrier oil with little or no essential oil in it. When I’ve had aromatherapy massage before the therapist has chosen a blend specifically and explained the qualities. There was no residual lovely smell on my skin afterwards at all. That aspect was a little disappointing but the massage itself was very good.

Wonderful experience at my Spa Massage just outside York. Afer much online research, booked Deep Tissue Massage Treatments for Two (sister and self) at Shabby to Chic just outside York centre and were completely satisfied. Both Elise and Sarah were very professional taking pride in their work - both therapists took the time to listen as to which areas to concentrate on and the treatments were tailored accordingly. Wished we lived nearer, as were just in York for a couple of days - would like to go back on a regular basis to pursue a tailored treatment plan - can't speak highly enough!

Great job at doing my hair. Visited several hairdressers in York to try and tone down the blond in my hair but not go two dark and they managed to get the colour just right. Good cut, reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend.

I’m always really pleased with my nails when Alice does them regularly so today I decided to try out a head massage and had my eyebrows waxed. Pleased with my eyebrows and ooooh the massage was absolutely fabulous ( and I’ve had quite a few to compare it to)

Ruth was as brilliant as ever, explained the whole process and after care, there was also a leaflet on what and not to do after treatment The treatment was better than I thought, a bit of tingling but my skin is positively glowing Also Ruth gave the most amazing head, shoulder and neck massage Would throughly recommend

Incredible Japanese head spa, such a relaxing environment from the offset with the heated bed and weighted blanket. My scalp has never felt so clean and healthy, and the mini facial and neck and shoulder massages were an amazing bonus!

I love visiting select. The staff are chilled and friendly. They don't mind who you go with for treatments as long as you're relaxed. They're highly trained & knowledgeable and happy to chat or be quiet if I'm zoned out. The facials and hot oil massages are gorgeous, but don't plan anything afterwards because you'll be so relaxed! They're brow experts. It's not easy finding people you trust who are consistently good. For electrolysis, they're the best in York, I tried 3 other places before finding Joanne. The location is easy to find and has free parking.

Neola was amazing. I had a beautiful facial followed by an Indian head massage. Great location and the atmosphere was lovely and calming. so relaxing I’m sure I nodded off in some parts. Thanks Neola I will be returning for sure!!!! 🥰

Wonderful experience having my first Ayurvedic massage with Irina. She very calmly and patiently explained the process and the philosophy of Ayurveda, and helped find the appropriate oil for my body. I will definitely be back and be recommending Irina to my friends in York and visitors.

My visits here are always a massive highlight for me. Lisa, Stacey and Alix were so welcoming. Always friendly and caring and creates such a relaxing environment. There is nowhere else in York like it! Alix took such time and care doing my nails and the art I had found. Fantastic job and love my nails.
