Best Spa Facials near me in York

I was lucky enough to have the spa extreme ritual day, this was the best massage and facial I have ever had. The young lady who have me this experience was fantastic. The pool, and other amenities were great, the salt room especially. My Spar package also included a light lunch which I had a beautiful Yorkshire ham salad, and would highly recommend. You can even stay in your bathrobe to go and have lunch in the conservatory. I will definitely be returning.

My experience was wonderful, I had a very relaxed and stress relieving massage and facial followed by a delicious lunch. I was able to lounge around and use the spa facilities afterwards. Would definitely recommend!

I booked for the serene escape with the relax and renew treatment. The treatment was amazing and was great if you want to have multiple areas massaged, especially as It incorporated a facial as well. Then full use of the facilities, robe, towel, slippers and lunch was also included which was incredible!! I will definitely be going again! Also I had a vegan option for lunch, I just told Gary on the spa desk as then the hotel kitchen made me a vegan cheese and pickle sandwich which was great! I couldn’t have asked for a better spa day :)

I had a wonderful solo spa day! The spa reception was very welcoming and offered lots of information the treatment relax and renew was amazing! Floated out! Loved the variety of rooms in the health spa and the jacuzzi was large too. Warm scones served with the cream tea yum! I would just encourage a little modernisation around the pool area it was looking a little tired. All in all a wonderful day thank you so much. I will definitely be coming back!

Treatments were first class. Spa facilities good. Would prefer not to have to walk to the hotel for lunch, it would be much better provided in the lounge of the spa

Fabulous Spa day. My friend and myself came on the January Spa day. All staff extremely helpful especially the lady on reception (sorry i don't know her name) I left my key in the treatment room for my locker and she sorted it for me. We had a neck, scalp and shoulder massage and it was the best I've had. It's been at least 5 years since I've been to the Spa and i thoroughly enjoyed it. It won't be another 5 years till I come back again. Perfect in every way

We enjoyed some time in the pool and facilities, but found it a bit too hot to fully relax, instead taking advantage of the September sunshine in the beer garden of the Fat Abbot! HOWEVER, we returned later for our scheduled treatments and were both given excellent care and attention. I enjoyed a Relax and Renew massage/facial with Lucy, and my OH had a Full Body Deep Tissue massage, which he reported as being thorough and beneficial. Staff at the Cloisters Spa were friendly, approachable and helpful. Hopefully we may return in the future, and definitely recommend a visit. Thank you.

I had a fantastic day at The Cloisters Spa. The facilities were great. I particularly enjoyed the salt inhalation room and sauna. The pool area was clean and well maintained. The relaxation room was a little dated but comfortable and quiet. Lunch was provided at The Parsonage hotel next door and I was really pleased at the vegan options available. I had the Renew and Relax treatment with Taylor. Overall it was a wonderful experience. Taylor was very attentive. She targeted some problem areas during the massage, and the facial was very relaxing. I will be returning and recommending to friends.

Visited with my two daughters and stayed overnight at the Parsonage Hotel. The Cloisters Spa is really lovely, all of the staff where very helpful and we felt looked after from the minute we arrived. We all had the relax and renew treatment and all agreed it was the best massage and facial we had experienced. The spa was clean and well equipped. Very relaxing spa break.

Lovely team at the spa and facial was very relaxing. Had a delicious lunch too. Swimming pool was a little tired in places with rust showing through at the bottom of some pillars. There was also a number of dead blue bottles and flies around the pool. The steps between the changing facilities and pool were very slippy

Enjoyed the taster relaxation experience at Cloisters spa. We arrived in the morning and had a swim in the pool. Nice sauna and steam room disappointed that the Jacuzzi wasn’t working. The sun beds are low for anyone with mobility problems and only one working hairdryer. I had a facial which was lovely and would recommend it.

This is one of my favourite places to go in York to relax and unwind. Lovely place in fantastic grounds and very attentive staff. Highly recommended.

This was my daughters and I third visit to Cloisters spa and we had a wonderful day. Our treatments were lovely and our Therapist Taylor was fabulous- professional, attentive and knowledgeable. Our only criticism was that we upgraded to Elemis for our facials but we’re bitterly disappointed that the products were old and not what we expected. Having trained in Elemis myself I know the range very well. I know that some of the products used were discontinued some time ago and was therefore very surprised they were still being used. Very disappointing

My massage and facial in the relax and renew treatment was really nice, the lady who gave me my treatment was really friendly and informative and had great technique. The only slight criticism that can't really be helped due to situation of the rooms was that I could hear noise from the reception. Previous spa experiences I have had the rooms are situated in a quieter place with no distractions. I would return though as good treatment and close to home

No talking from either therapist, even before the treatment started-which made me feel awkward, not at ease or relaxed. I was a little taken aback at no conversation about my skin type or what I prefer in the way of a facial, but it actually wasn’t a problem as the products and facial were really, really great. The cleanliness of the gym/spa facilities changing rooms were lacking. Grubby is being polite. (Inside lockers, not just dust but dirt on every surface, wish I hadn’t dropped my pound on the floor to see under the bench 🤢)which was disappointing as the rest of the hotel was good.

Treatment nice lovely girl informed me of what she was going to do. Could of been much firmer tho and would of liked abit more massage in the facial it was very basic. Also didn’t really get a scalp massage just a hair tickle but very relaxing atmosphere. Sandwhiches nice could do with a menu for other options to pay for on the table as we fancied a scone but asked and this wasn’t an issue. Also cleanliness of reception area was abit poor but the rest of the spa was clean and nicely presented

This was my first time to the Cloister spa. I had booked the Ultimate Time Escape Spa Day- Absolute Spa Ritual. This was a 1hr55min treatment of a full body massage and facial. I also added in a pigment treatment for an extra £8 . Light Lunch was tasty I had the ham and mustard sandwiches. The whole day was fabulous. Abbie was really professional and friendly . She was aware that I had a knee injury and was gentle around this area. The facilities where clean and inviting. Thank you Abbie for making this a great visit. Highly recommended

A gift for my daughter, and her fiancée. They both enjoyed there day but came back starving as no food could be purchased. But both really enjoyed their experience in the spa and hot stone therapy
