Both staff were efficient, albeit lacking warmth. (Being Irish, we're used to a little friendly banter with therapists) Manicure was done expertly with a good colour. Hot stone massage was excellent

I was lucky enough to have the spa extreme ritual day, this was the best massage and facial I have ever had. The young lady who have me this experience was fantastic. The pool, and other amenities were great, the salt room especially. My Spar package also included a light lunch which I had a beautiful Yorkshire ham salad, and would highly recommend. You can even stay in your bathrobe to go and have lunch in the conservatory. I will definitely be returning.

Lovely grounds, very nice lunch and friendly staff. I would recommend. Excellent facial but didn’t enjoy the hot stone massage - it was a bit erratic and not especially relaxing when that is what I asked for

My visits here are always a massive highlight for me. Lisa, Stacey and Alix were so welcoming. Always friendly and caring and creates such a relaxing environment. There is nowhere else in York like it! Alix took such time and care doing my nails and the art I had found. Fantastic job and love my nails. Another lovely luxury pedicure with Helen. My poor neglected feet are now ready for the summer! Helen has such a warm and friendly manner and puts so much attention into her beauty therapies. I have tried a few centrally located salons in York but find them rushed and overpriced for the quality of treatments and customer service. I highly recommend Helen and Haze!

Sarah was very warm and welcoming. Sarah is very knowledgeable and ensured she knew where my problem areas were before she began. I had a lovely relaxing massage.

This massage is brilliant for that whole body relaxation. It’s surprising how much I was aching before! The warmth from the lava shells really worked deep in to the tissue, even in my arms and legs, leaving me feeling great afterwards.
