I love visiting select. The staff are chilled and friendly. They don't mind who you go with for treatments as long as you're relaxed. They're highly trained & knowledgeable and happy to chat or be quiet if I'm zoned out. The facials and hot oil massages are gorgeous, but don't plan anything afterwards because you'll be so relaxed! They're brow experts. It's not easy finding people you trust who are consistently good. For electrolysis, they're the best in York, I tried 3 other places before finding Joanne. The location is easy to find and has free parking.

Just moved to York, so first time here after going to a different salon for over 4 years and she absolutely nailed it!! Eyebrows are perfect and exactly how I like them, Thankyou xx😍

I had a lovely session with Lauren this afternoon in her beautiful salon. Had eyebrow tint and wax with a bit of added Botox. I also had a very relaxing Dermaplane. I would highly recommend Lauren she is so professional and very friendly.

I am totally blown away by the exceptional service I received from Kamila for my treatment of power brows. Right from my patch test to treatment day. I was made to feel welcome in this clean calm and relaxing atmosphere. She talked me right through the treatment process, from what she was doing to mapping my brows out and colour. She made sure I was happy by constantly showing me the shape, before she proceeded. Right to the end she took time to talk me through the after care and what to expect until my top up appointment in a few weeks.

Lynne is always welcoming and her salon is smart and has a luxurious feel. She discussed what I wanted and had the time to explain what she was doing. Fantastic facial today along with LED light facial, eye brow tint and wax. Lauren was very tentative and thorough on explaining with detail what she was doing and what products she was using on my face. I felt relaxed and at ease through out the whole treatment. My face has never felt better! She was amazing and it was extremely relaxing and enjoyable! I highly recommend!

Natasha is an amazing make-up artist and is phenomenal when it comes to all things brows and lashes! She always makes you feel at ease and we have a good giggle in the process! I can’t recommend Yorkshire Hair and Make-up highly enough because they always surpass expectations delivering a first class service to all their clients.
