What should I do to take care of a new ear piercing?

You should also be strict on hygiene after you’ve had your ears pierced: wash your hands before touching your ears, clean and rinse your piercings with salt water or a mild, fragrance-free soap and water at least once a day, and apply a thin layer of petroleum jelly around each opening. If in doubt, your piercing technician should be able to advise you on how to take care of your newly pierced ears.

Can I sleep on my newly pierced ears?

Yes. Sleeping with your ears newly pierced shouldn’t be a problem.
