As a first time client, I was thoroughly impressed with the service which I received at The Spa Lounge. Due to a scheduling mix-up, the salon actually was not opened today (Whit Monday) despite my making an appointment approximately two weeks ago. My first interaction with Niki was over the phone this morning, when she not only apologized for the error, but actually gave up her morning to meet me at the salon. The care, professionalism and attention to detail exhibited during the appointment was unmatched. This was easily the best Brazilian wax I've ever had! I will definitely be back.

Lovely owner. Great service. I am a tourist over from the UK so was nervous about getting a wax from someone other than my regular one. I walked to the salon from Carlisle Bay but recommend getting a bus or taxi if you don’t like walking. Owner sent directions before apt with detailed instructions. Got a very warm welcome and she even cut my partners hair whilst he waited and put on paw patrol for my daughter. Wax was the exact same as back home. They listened to what my normal service was like and replicated it.

My experience was amazing as usual. Tiffany is always on time and ready to get down to business as soon as you walk through the door. She is always professional and loves what she does. It was first time doing a wax, while the initial feeling was a shock, Kesha made sure I was comfortable and allowed me a couple minutes to breathe. Overall the experience was new and I was in good hands, definitely continue waxing in the future .

Tina was so knowledgeable about general physiology that she was able to understand how an underlying condition i had affected my skin and work to suit. She's also extremely personable and made me feel so very comfortable with my bikini wax, i might let her do a brazilian next time and i SWORE i could never show myself to a tech like that, she made me feel THAT comfortable. In a nutshell - kind, efficient, great quality and price.

It was my first time getting a wax done and I didn't know what to expect. I just knew it would hurt. Shamika talked with me through the entire experience and explained things as she went along. I felt very comfortable and Shamika made me feel as though we knew each other. The pain was not as bad as I was expecting and I would recommend any first timer to give Shamika's services a try. Where to start??? I haven’t been well for the past couple weeks so I was only exfoliating once a week or when I felt like it. Moving on, my appointment was today and I had some ingrowns as expected and a couple black heads due to my inconsistency. nonetheless, my wax went smoothly and I loved the new wax we used today! I hardly felt a thing. If you didn’t take anything from this…just know that exfoliating and moisturizing is extremely important in your waxing journey.

As a first timer when it comes to sugaring, I had to idea what to expect besides pain. While I did experience pain, the experience wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be. Kimberly was attentive, honest, and understanding throughout the entire process and I actually had no idea she started until we were done one arm. She made me feel comfortable and she also showed her knowledge about what she was doing, which let me know I was in good hands. Would definitely come again and would definitely recommend to others! 🩷
